I'll bite. Great opportunity for what, exactly? I don't know much about it. I know I have a young neighbor boy who isn't allowed to celebrate holidays.
Never mind. You don't really have to answer. I read the Wikipedia page so I've pretty much got the gist of it.0 -

Okay. I got hurt when they said those harsh things to me. And back off
You're trying to convert someone to your religion, aka, saying their religion sucks and yours is superior.. yet YOU got hurt when they said to back off and leave them alone? You admitted yourself that you not only offered, but begged, pleaded and pushed.... chill out, geez.1 -

Why can't he celebrate holidays?
I don't know. He told me it was a J-dub thing. He's like 7, though.
No Halloween (the best holiday ever) and no birthdays, I think. I just assume that applies to most of the other fun ones, too.0 -

You are correct. Unless the Whitenesses have different rules than the Witnesses...
Clearly they have some prejudices so maybe they are a whole new religion
I've been laughing about the 'whiteness' all morning.2 -

I asked my best friend if everyone thinks I'm annoying. My best friend said, "Well I hate to be the one to tell you this but....you're a pain in the *kitten*! You push people to join a group when they told you no, you are too agreeable, you can't better people and you need to accept that not EVERYONE will like you. Stop being paranoid!" Is she right?
It is annoying to try to get someone to join your religuon after they have turned you down. Continuing to talk about it or ask them about it is rude and tiresome. You are correct that people do not like being around someone acting this way.
If people have to tell you this you are missing major social cues. It is pretty standard ettiquette to not discuss religion, politics or money. It sounds like you need to learn what is appropriate in the culture you live in.
You sound like you are really struggling with interactions in all areas.
I think you could benefit from some professional help and suggest trying therapy or social skills training. Maybe consider getting tested for autism spectrum disorder. http://www.autism-help.org/adults-diagnosis-aspergers.htm

First- I have never heard the phrase 'annoying as the annoying orange' but I love it.
And, there is a difference between being firm and 'asking and begging'. You want the kids you work with to know that when you say 'no' you mean 'no' so you need to accept that when a friend says 'no' they mean 'no'.
So, to recount- "You push people to join a group when they told you no" That is annoying, but you can stop that behavior.
'you are too agreeable'- what are you agreeing to? Rule breaking or just where you go to lunch that day? Do you not speak your opinions when in group discussions?
'you need to accept that not EVERYONE will like you' That is true for everyone.2 -
