Anyone live in Fort Worth Texas and go to riskies bbq at the stockyards? I’m looking for good low calorie selections to eat while I’m there thank you

smoked chicken without the sides and without the skin is usually safe.

Looks pretty good. Usually when I eat at a place like that, I split the meal with either 1 or 2 people. You could get a platter or a basket and share it. Use a bread plate - fill half of it with meat, and divide the other half between two sides. Leave enough room so that it isn't over flowing and so that the different items aren't touching. That should be a pretty decent calorie portion.

If I was ordering my own, I'd get the mesquite shrimp appetizer. And a side of green beans. The cole slaw might not be too heavy if it's vinegar based. If it's cream based though, then it'll be high in calories. The baked potato would also be good if you get it plain. You can add your own little bit of butter if you need it. Just watch the portion size. I'd eat no more than a potato that is as big as my palm.

The chicken tacos also look good. Skip the cream sauce and go easy on the beans. Eat 2 tortillas total (assuming they are regular sized). If they are mini tortillas, you could probably have 3.
