    There’s no doubt in my mind they are (today is a perfect, terrible example) but unfortunately if I want to keep my job I have to go to these events. I need to figure out a way to get the higher-ups to consider “healthier” restaurants....that’s an uphill battle!

    My daughter was in the same position as you. She has finally gone fully keto and has lost 10 pounds in about a month. She is very active working out, hiking and some running. Her comment was that she has tried cutting fats and done most of the things that they used to say were bad for you and it's time to do something different. She has had to completely cut out carbs in the form of sugars and starches. She is allowed unlimited fats. I'm not really ready to do that yet, but it is working well for her, so far. I hope it is sustainable. Good luck!
