Can I see your before/after pics ladies who've lost 100+?

I have been trying for years to lose this weight and I'm finally in a place mentally where I think I can make it happen. I'll be 30 years old next year and I have a 5 year old who needs a mom who can keep up with her.
It finally hit me a few months ago when I stepped on a scale at the doctor to see I weighed the same as I did the day I gave birth. And not because I'd held onto the baby weight either--I lost all of that and then some after I had her. This was all gained in the past 2-3 years!
I have been at this for 10 days now--sticking to paleo as often as possible (it works for me) and gluten-free always (I have an autoimmune disease and I should have been gf ages ago). I also just started kickboxing and I'm already in love with it (sore as hell with bruised knuckles, but really excited to do it again!)
The success stories on this board have been incredibly helpful for motivation, and I'd love to see some other women who've gone from 300ish pounds to 150 or so. I think visualizing myself at my goal weight could help me keep at it on those hard days (like when my husband and kid eat peanut butter toast in front of me--RUDE!)
Thanks everyone! Feel free to add me as a friend ^_^

I don't have any before pix. I threw all of them in the bin. Those before pix never motivated me one single day. They made me loathe myself. I threw away my diet books with the before pix. I tore down the photos of celebrities that I had plastered all over my house. Eventually, you quit looking at them on your fridge, it all becomes a blur. I don't compete or do weight challenges. I quit joining weight loss clubs. I stopped dieting and following any new dieting trend.
The only thing that motivates me is the memory of my pain. Painful knees, feet, joints, shoulders, wrists from carrying way too much weight on my bone structure. I haven't got time for that pain anymore and I don't ever plan on going back there.
There are success stories all over the net but in the end, it's one on one. You.
I am sorry about delicate health conditions. It is so very hard. You'll get some great advice here. Your health is a priority. Start a journal and write about your feelings, your fears, your hopes and general thoughts on just about everything. It will be an invaluable tool. It will keep your mind busy during some inevitable rough patches.
Don't compare yourself to anyone. The entirety of life is just too huge to contemplate thinking about what it takes to maintain your goal. On a one day at a time, one meal at a time basis, you will get there. Think of your next meal as your food reset. Don't worry about past flops or mistakes. They make our life a living 'hail' and who needs that.
Many of us have ridden that merry-go-round and all the horses' saddles are worn smooth from our rearends. Eat your whole foods, track your portions/calories. This is exactly the strategy that many successful people have used and it broke the entire dieting cycle for them. Eat foods you like and do everything on your own terms.
One more thing about before pix. When you think of people who are naturally fit and have never dieted one single day in their life...they don't have any 'before' pix. They simply 'are' in the photo with friends and family at peace. Befores and Afters don't exist for them. They simply are...all of the time. I want that. No befores. No afters. Just present and accounted for.

I'm glad not having "before" pics has worked for you... but I am so motivated by other people's progress... and my own. It's easy to forget where you've come from. I've lost 41lbs and sometimes I forget to relish where I am. I get caught up in how much work I need to still do. Then I look back at photos and I am proud of what I've accomplished... and have a greater appreciation for where I am in this journey... and that motivates me to continue.
OP, I follow a ton of people on instagram and have my own page @losing.and.winning, you're welcome to follow. Posting and being held accountable on my page has helped me so much. Following other's who have put in the hard work has helped me so much on this journey.5 -

This was a two year gap, had been maintaining/recomping for around 4months when second pic was taken
A year (and around 20lb) between these 2 pics, had put on some weight while marathon training at the start of the year but lost it again

I’m not there yet but I’m well on my way. I was 286lbs And I’m now 218. I also do kickboxing and it is amazing for working those muscles. I’m 2 sizes smaller than I was last time I was this weight because of the muscle I have. My goal weight is 175.

WOW! Amazing progress! Thank you so much for sharing0

LOL! I haven't got a recent pic at the moment. But in September 2016? This was me standing next to Eldon "Foggy Nelson" Henson:
(That's my husband on his other side).
In August 2017, some 80lbs later, this was me:
This year, I think I'm splurging for another photo op at Fan Expo. Jennifer Morrison is coming and I'm a huge OUAT fan...

I used to weigh around 385 lb. I currently weigh 161.
So yes, it can be done. But my favourite part of that ‘after’ pic isn’t that I’m looking thinner; it’s that I’m on top of a freakin’ hill that I walked up my ainsel’.
So think of what it is you can’t do now, and how great it’ll feel once you can. Because it feels just that great, maybe even better. And that’s your notivation39 -
That's so amazing! We are HUGE con nerds at my house and while my 5 year old has TONS of pictures with our favorites, I'm always watching from the sidelines because I don't want to see what I look like standing next to their perfect bods! I was dragged into the group one by a friend (I'm the one standing in the middle in the green dress next to Stephen Amell) and I hate that all I see when I look at it is my arms. I can't wait for the day that I'm excited to jump in there with her! Thank you so much for sharing

May I ask if you had any surgery for loose skin? Your body type in your before pic looks like mine (especially the arms) and I'd love to know what your skin was like after the amazing loss0 -

I’m still losing (just 2lb to go to my final goal!), so no, no surgery.
There’s a fair bit of loose skin on my upper arms, thighs and bum, but most of the time it doesn’t really notice. When I’m at rest my upper inner arms look a bit wrinkly, but not obtrusively so and if I felt seriously self-conscious I could hide it with a shrug. My tummy is less saggy than I expected, too; I was sort of fearing a massive apron that hung down over my thighs, but no, it’s actually sagging less than it did when I was at my fattest.
The loose skin (on both arms and legs) is obvious at gym classes - it sort of forms flaps that swing about during aerobic workouts and the like - but frankly neither I nor anyone else has the mental space to notice other people’s oddities while we’re trying to get through another set of ‘wall climbers’ without dying, so I try not to worry about it. It’s not a problem otherwise13 -

Our stories are similar! I will be 30 next year and also have a 5 year olds daughter! She is a big motivating factor for me! Along with not wanting this life to be my life forever. I want better and to not be limited by my weight.
I honestly had not realized how much I had let myself go. I have always been over weight, for as long as I can remember. It really hit me hard when I got pictures back from a mommy daughter photo shoot and saw how big I was. I stepped on the scale and was shocked when I saw 328!! I was the biggest I had ever been. I had never lost weight successfully before, but I wanted to live an active life and set a good example for my daughter. I didn’t want her to be embarrassed of me as she gets older and realizes not everyone’s mom is overweight like I am.
It has been a challenge. I fall off the wagon some weeks, but am determined to keep going. I started in September of last year and I am almost at 50 lbs lost. I could have lost more by now, but that isn’t helpful thinking. I just focus on keeping on until I am happy. Still a long way to go, but at least I’m going.
Feel free to add me or message me anytime! It is always nice to have someone to walk the path with you.

This is a 101lb difference. I never kept many 230lb full body pictures and if I did my face was contorted in such a way to make me look "thinner" ... I notice now it didn't really work very well lol
100+lbs is a lot of weight to lose that's for sure but so totally doable.
When I first started losing weight my daughter was 5 too. I understand the want and need to be able to keep up with them. I did not start at 300lbs like you asked but I just want you to know that it's so possible.
As to the peanut butter, powdered peanut butters are actually pretty good and 1/4 of the calories. PB2 is the name and it's gluten free as well . It doesn't taste identical but you learn to make sacrifices lol

Yes....feel the same about PB2 and many other foods too. You sacrifice for what you want even more. Your picture tells that story....beautiful!!!3 -
I’m down almost 90 lbs. I’d like to lose another 15-25 lbs but I’m also happy where I am. Good luck!9

You look great! And so does the man in your pics I have 90 pounds to go, looks like it can be done!1 -
This is not quite 100, it's about 95. However, before I had the baby in the second picture I had lost about 120.
My start weight was somewhere north of 300 lbs. Second picture with the purple dress I'm around 210 or 215. This has been a challenge but it's so worth it. I have about 40-45 lbs to go.6 -
