Short people problems

Gym equipment is not made for those under 5 feet. Im 4'11" and finding any equipment that i can reach is hard! Anyone else have this issue? What do you do?

    I grab a chair or a bench or climb alot. LOL. I'm 5'0"
    I've also invested in equipment to use at home. Its mainly been birthday and christmas gifts of fitness. LOVE being able to workout at home

    I have a recumbent bike but even at the closest setting im struggling to reach pedals and its hard to find a way off of it.

    I am also 4'11 :) I don't have much of a problem with the things in the gym, one of the ones you pull down (sorry don't know the name of it) I kneel on the seat to reach the bar but other than that I am ok something I have to put the seat really low down haha!!!
