Well, it was Saturday night....1 -
This sounds perfect for me too. Is there a way to get reminders to sign in and log in your score? I'm not the best at remembering to chime in.0

If there is a way to get a reminder, I am not aware of it. Sometimes I forget to check in too, but you can miss days and then log the results of several nights at one time. It doesn't matter. Whatever works for you.0 -

You set what you feel is late night snacking. For example, if you have extra calories left for the day, you can have a snack if it's small. Others decide not to eat at a past a certain time. It's up to you.
We go by the formula:
Me: "number indicating how many evenings you stuck to it"
LNS: "number of times late night snacks won"
Example: Me: 2 - LNS: 0 indicates I won the first two nights.
Some people also add a * to the latest number. In the example, that would be
Me: 2 - LNS: 1*
if LNS won the 3rd night.
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated, as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile .
You will notice some people post streaks of how many days they are free of late night snacking. This is definitely not a requirement, but if you want to do it for motivation, it works well.
Welcome!

@ChristieShaker, there's no way to get a "check in" reminder that I'm aware of, but if you click the star at the top of the thread, it will notify you whenever someone replies to this thread, which can help remind you.0 -

Went grocery shopping last night and picked up a loaf of my favorite sourdough bread - been out of stock forever! I wanted to prep it as soon as I got home (I cut the whole loaf and freeze slices), but I knew I would eat a slice or two if I did that... so it’s sitting on the counter still untouched as of this morning until I have the willpower under control!

Did it big this time. The rest of a family sized bag of chips left over from a cookout today. I should never have bought them in the first place.

I must join!! I am a midnight muncher and frequently dip into the peanut butter jar! It's so bad. I count it but it just eats up more calories for my day, then I am starving in the middle of the night. Must break this cycle. I finished the jar last night.1 -

@Tolamarie - ugh! I totally understand that feeling. I’ve taken to throwing food away or giving it away when I know it will be a temptation later after the party is over... I’ve had too many of the similar experience of eating the remaining food from an event.
