5/31--135.... Got on scale rather than looking at my muscle/fat etc. And shocked myself cause 135-140lbs is my biggest-not being careful weight. As in I start feeling thick and stuffed. I thought I was around 130! Goodness me. I'm still surprised about it.

This time though I dumped over a pound overnight from not eating enough. It wasn't water weight. I wasn't happy about that either. I want to eat every allotted calorie. I will only leave calories behind if I've met my macros. Ideally, I strive to do both. I know that it may not make sense to others, but it's what works in my favor. Every week or so I have a day of higher calorie intake and sometimes it forces my body to drop weight. I just do what I should and my body takes care of the rest.
I'm with you on consistently eating enough. I also hold onto weight if I'm significantly under my calorie allotment. It makes sense though. The concept of the body going into starvation mode due to undereating seems pretty legitimate to me.

5/28 93.1kg Night shift struggling to eat all my calories but made it to group Training!
5/29 92.8kg have been losing too quick need to try and meet calorie target, appetites back now my colds gone.
5/30 93.5kg first upwards blip. Was waiting for it. End of TOM and post night shift always put me at my heaviest for a few days. Another 5 days and I think it will settle down again

6/01 92.8kg and the scales have headed back down, quicker than I thought. Had the best cookie yesterday. Big socialising weekend ahead may be a challenge food wise.
6/02 92.1kg -700g overnight seems like a blip. Had friends over for dinner, they bought nice champagne so I indulged but stayed under maintenance
6/03 92.3kg yo-yo up and down this week, glad I’m using happy scale to watch the trend. Did well at the 18th party yesterday was under maintenance. BILs 40th bday today, aim for under maintenance then back to normal Monday.
6/04 92.7kg well this weeks has been an eye opener for fluctuation! Back to my regular pattern of eating so hopefully my weight settles

5/28. 200 lbs. logged EVERYTHING I ate today. I had to force myself to do so. I can fool the apps but my body is showing what I eat anyway!!! Might as well be real with the apps!
5/29 199 lbs. logged everything- went over calorie limit by 39. Tomorrow I will work hard to not go over the limit. Planning is the key.
5/30 199 lbs. logged everything. The ugly lunch and the hideous dinner. I was all set to eat chicken breast and veggies for dinner. Then I saw krispy Krunchy chicken on 125th st. I HAD to try it. Oh my was it disgusting. Gotta kick the habit of every new place I see, I gotta try the food. The majority of the time, I am disappointed in the taste of the food.
5/31 199 lbs. honest logging still going on. Unfortunately I didn’t eat enough today. Know planning helps with this. Will do so on Saturday.
6/01 195 lbs didn’t eat enough today. But I did eat my pretzels. That was good for me.
6/02 192 lbs ate healthy for breakfast and dinner. Ate pretzels for lunch (that’s what I wanted). Will not have pretzels on Sunday. Might help me eat healthier.
6/03 192 lbs. did not have pretzels today. Instead I baked the #2ingredientdough and #2ingredientpineapplecake. I only ate one serving of each. Proud of myself. Man am I stuffed. Did 2.5 mile run this AM in park - doubly proud because I ran the entire thing. Getting back into the swing of running. Power walked 1 mile this AM also. Finished off today with several 30 day challenges Had more simple carbs today than usual. Let’s see if it affects me in the upcoming days.
6/04 189 lbs. Did the 30 day challenges this morning. Power walked 2.3 miles 12:30pm. Took cardio sculpting class from 6-7pm. Only had enough calories to eat 20 pretzels. That’s what I did. I actually didn’t think I could leave pretzels in the bag. But this and the other challenges I am in is making me even more aware of my eating habits and what I can do to change them.

5/29 - Watched my food choices. Ate at home instead of going to a restaurant. Went for a long walk after dinner.
5/30- Today I was bit of a picky eater. Had a MRI -was not enjoyable.
5/31-Big improvements in my overall health, starting to feel back to myself, staying active.
6/1- since my surgery I am having a real hard time losing my weight because I had to take steroids. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat. Going to the doctors Tuesday - have it checked out. Good walking steps.
6/2 Today did not eat what I am suppose, back on track tomorrow.
6/3 Ate healthy today, have to be more consistent on my exercise.

6/03 92.5kg (-0.3kg) I'm suprised! Went out for dinner (on my bike), made good choices but there was a whole lot of oil on my plate and I couldn't estimate and log all the kcal. Had a fair amount of steps 9.500. Hope to keep this flow going. I desperately want to get under the 90's!!

Can't believe tomorrow is the last day already! This is a great challenge. I wasn't a fan of getting on the scales too much, but this was great.
Well done to everyone, it is comforting to see most have the same struggles with weekends etc.

5/28: 181.2 Good to start the challenge with a drop.
5/29: 181.0 I'm still at the very beginning of this journey, but I'm starting to make actual progress. Finally seeing a difference in my mirror.
5/30: 180.6 Excited to think about breaking through 180 and get into the 170s for the first time since 2013.
5/31: 180.4 Slow and sure this round.
6/01: 180.4 I always seem to slow down coming up to a goal. Come on 179.x!!

5/29: 102.6kg/226.2lbs – I’m back from holiday and back at work, managed to lose a couple of pounds too which is a bonus. My goals for the holiday were to maintain marathon training and to make positive food choices, and I smashed both goals! Really happy and somewhat proud of myself although it is incredibly hard running in those heats! Lunches all prepped for the week and ready to roll!
5/30: 102.3kg/225.5lbs – I’m sat at work hungover. Eurrgh. Positive note my weight is still going down! Meals all prepped and today is a rest day for me so no running or gym.
5/31: 102.3kg/225.5lbs - No complaints from me, woke up at 6am hoping to go for a run however I still appear to be really tight from the gym on Tuesday. I’ll stretch out and try again this evening.
6/01: 101.5kg/223.8lbs – Destroyed myself in the gym last night and then decided to run 8km on the treadmill, I must really hate myself… Legs are so tight today, couple rest days would be nice but I’ll be back in the gym tonight.
6/02: 102.0kg/224.8lbs – Rest day today.
6/03: 102.0kg/224.8lbs – Managed a 11km run, should have been 12 but my app was playing up.
6/04: 102.3kg/225.5lbs – Standard bit of yo-yoing, this will probably drop with a couple days of proper water intake.
6/05: 101.9kg/224.6lbs – Happy with this! Felt extremely low yesterday which led me to handing my notice in at work, shame it didn’t work out but I won’t compromise my happiness, even if that means finding another job. Eurgh. I did feel weirdly relieved afterwards though.. Onwards and downwards.

5/28 - 63.6kg (-0.8kg) - I ate my body weight in sourdough on Saturday so the scale is showing a bit high. I am expecting a quick drop at the beginning of the round into the 62s then it should slow down a bit. Working towards getting back into the 61s this round where I haven't been since R36!
5/29 - 63.5kg (-0.1kg) - Hmmmmm. Guess that quick drop back to my weight last round that I was expecting decided to pass me by... TOM arrived as well which is perhaps playing a part.
5/30 - 63.4kg (-0.1kg) - C'mooooon. So slow.
5/31 - 63.2kg (-0.2kg) - Clearly consistency of my diet is shining though even when I had a pretty high carb day yesterday!

6/05 - 63.0 (-0.4kg) - I am trying to figure out what I did to deserve this loss. I finally got back to running yesterday and I can't believe how hard/good it was. I've lost a lot of my fitness and I have missed running so so much. Certainly not going to get to the outrageous goal I set for this round but I would love to get into the 62s tomorrow.

5/28 - 159.4 - Horrible way to start this round. My meals weren't bad, no snacking, lots of yard work and a late evening walk after dinner. Water intake was good too. Hoping this is just a slight rise before a nice drop the next day or two. Lots of outside work to do again today and it's going to be hot, so I need to remember to keep drinking water.
5/29 - 158.6 - Usually I feel a yes! Or ehh or oh crap! when I step on the scale but this morning I really didn't feel anything. Yes I'm glad that it's gone back down and yes I'm still really want to lose the weight and I'm not giving up on my healthy habits I'm creating but there wasn't no excitement at the scale this morning. Looking in the mirror and seeing a difference is what I mostly get excited about and I haven't been seeing much change so I think the lose on the scale isn't meaning as much. Will be taking measurements again next week so hopefully it shows results so I can get excited again.
5/30 - 157.0 - Saw this number last round but knew it wasn't true, this time around it might be a little more accurate. Ate a healthy lunch, played a bunch of outdoor games with the kids and had a light dinner. I did have a cupcake though for my son's 5th grade promotion at his school but I logged it and I was still good with calories. Hoping this is a true number as I'm approaching my mini goal date. Also I'm not feeling so meh about the scale this morning, yesterday must just of been an off day.
5/31 - 157.0 - Well it stuck around this time but might see a slight increase in the next day or two as I ate a cookie and some ice cream for a "party" me and my daughter had yesterday for it being the last day of school and then some homemade pizza for dinner. Don't regret it though as we had fun and it made the day special for her. I'll get back on track today though and finish out this round strong.

6/02 - 158.0 - Not surprised by this, not enough water yesterday, took the kids to lunch at Applebee's and didn't eat dinner till about 10:00 last night. Also I'm weighing about a half hour later than normal. Soccer games this morning and a cookout at a friend's this evening.

6/04 - 158.8 - (((sigh))) and I've been exercising and eating well.

5/28 - 170.5 - My daughter took me to a wine and painting party on Saturday night and we had the family over for a picnic yesterday and today. I enjoyed some food I hadn't had since last Summer and I really have no regrets. I stayed very mindful of the amounts I ate and although I went over my calories I know this is a little blip due to family. I did not over-indulge as I have done in the past. I'm sure it will show up in the next couple days, but I'm hoping I can end this round at 169.5 since I saw that number a couple times last round.
5/29 - 171 - I was expecting this, but I'm back on plan today and I hope I don't go up anymore this week.
5/30 - 169.5 - Well, there went the water weight from the past few days. I may bobble up and down the next couple days, but I'm happy to have hit this number this early in the round.
5/31 - 169 - This is nice, but due to some unexpected blood test results, my Dr. has taken me off the water pills that were prescribed a few years ago for my high blood pressure. It will be interesting to see how this will affect my weight. I'll just have to make sure to track my inches.
6/01 - 169 - I'm holding steady for now.
6/02 - 168.5 - Well, this was a surprise!
6/03 - 168 - Another surprise. Although I've been eating below my calories, the weight usually doesn't move down this quick. I'm expecting a bounce up tomorrow, but I'm glad to see this number.
6/04 - 168.5 - I'm very happy I've held to the 168's this long. Especially since I haven't been taking my water pill. We do have family coming in from out of town tonight to stay for a week. I'm just going to keep on tracking, both good and bad, and hopefully maintain this weight for the next 7 days.
6/05 - 168.5 - Family came in last night. They ordered carry out from a local iconic burger joint. I ate my homemade salad and snagged one of my grandson's leftover onion rings. It sure tasted good, but knowing I was going to be logging it in my diary stopped me from eating the other two. I ended the day with 300 calories to spare. Now I just have to get through the birthday celebration at work today and my lunch with a client.
