I have only lost 10 lbs in 3 months. I track everything and stick to 1200 calories or less. I have been walking twice a week on the treadmill for 60 minutes. I am over 50 and quit smoking cigarettes 4 months ago (Yay!) but maybe my metabolism is at a stand still? Unfortunately, I am not able to drink any caffeine to help either to help boost it either. Any ideas on how to ramp up the weight loss a little?

How much do you have to lose? If it's less than 40 pounds, you're right where you should be.

I began at 192 and I am only at 182 now. Goal is 160.

are you weighing your food on a food scale?
as you have less to lose tracking becomes more important

I am at 178, it took me nealy 2 months to drop 5lbs. The less excess fat you have on your body, the harder it gets to lose the weight. It's more about percentage of excess fat loss, than amount. That's why people that are/were morbidly obese (I used to be one) can lose 10-15lbs much faster than someone who only has 20lbs to lose in total.

I’m also over 50 and i tend to lose slowly too but a loss is a loss. Are you drinking enough water and changing up your diet? I find sometimes when i hit a plateau if i change up my menu it jolts my body a bit.
