So I am currently on day 3, am taking 3 tablets with each meal (30 mins before) and it has definitely suppressed my appetite .. but it makes me wonder .. is this healthy? I understand it’s only been tested on rats so there is no real scientific evidence of it working on humans .. has anyone tried these and if so did they achieve their results?

They have done a study on rodents which showed some positive results.
But before you get all excited two things to take into account:
1) it was a rodent trial and not a human trial.
2) The Raspberry Ketones made up 2% of the rodents diet (not really a supplement).
Probably best to leave them on the shelf and save your money.

What are are you goals? What is your workout program?
If that is a current pic, you look pretty lean.0 -

They're bro-science woo. Calorie deficit and heavy lifting are all you need.
Examine.com is your friend for scientific-based info on any supplement. @AnvilHead posted the link above.11 -

No they won't help unfortunately.
Small calorie deficit, adequate protein, progressive lifting and patience.10 -

Yeah that makes the most sense, if only there was a pill that would help3 -

If there is it's not legal and probably very dangerous. Not worth it imo4 -
I am moving and while packing I found a half used bottle of raspberry ketones from 5 years ago, they clearly did nothing for me lol. Not to sound harsh but if you have just started them you are probably experiencing a placebo affect (mind over matter; believing they work so they do). I had this at first while taking them as well then about week 3 they did absolutely nothing, except making my burps taste like raspberries.7

Raspberry ketones and green coffee supplements were the rage a few years back. Quackery.4

Haha yeah I’ve noticed that my burps taste like raspberries.. I feel like I should take them just to get rid of them and then focus on eating less calories in the day etc0 -

Can you return them? If not there won't be any harm to finishing them just no benefits either. But yes focus on a reasonable calorie deficit instead. use the MFP guided set up to get a calorie goal. Don't worry too much either I feel like most of us have fallen for some sort of diet woo at some point.2 -
raspberry ketones are so 2013...3

Anything dr oz promotes is likely woo woo lol7

Why do people take things they know haven't been tested or properly studied?2

Better to dispose of them in the garbage than your body.4 -

Random question - would they count towards your fruit and veg intake (“5 a day” for those in UK)? Or not enough volume and fibre?0

Absolutely not. Not even a little bit.2 -

They are a chemical found in some fruit that gets combined with some filler and condensed into a pill. So no it doesn't count as anything.1 -
Just do keto, and make your own ketones. I've lost 130lbs in a year (and controlled my epilepsy) thanks to keto.17

Please don't interpret this as a defense of raspberry ketones, but if there is no chance of a patent, there is little likelihood of a proper study.0 -

Because the diet industry knows exactly how to target their advertising/marketing, and they know there are plenty of desperate people willing to try anything in search of that "magic pill".4 -

Drat. So they really have no positive side.0 -
Raspberry ketones won't do much for you. I'm not a body builder but I do know that Intermittent Fasting (like the Leangains program) helps with losing fat and maintaining muscle.17

No and I bet they don't even taste of raspberries.1 -
I have taken every magic pill there is ... NONE of them have done a damn thing ... eventually I ate less .. that works4

They actually don't. But they will make your breath smell/taste of raspberries after you eat them. It's odd.0 -

Intermittent Fasting, in and of itself, has zero benefits over any other weight management strategy that creates a calorie deficit.
I've been doing IF for decades. The only thing IF can do is make it easier for some people to manage their calorie intake. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing magic.9 -
If you want to cut fat without making big changes, I would look into doing low impact steady state cardio workouts on your off days. I have a friend who does StrongLifts 5x5 Mon/Wed/Fri and then he walks for 40 minutes at a decent pace on Tue/Thu/Sat. He claims it has really helped him cut his body fat %. You might want to look into that.2
