Weight lifting at 3am?

Ok so my schedule only allows me to get up at 3am walk to the gym 45 minutes away. So by the time I get there it’s 4:30 am I workout an hour walk back home for 7am to get little one ready for school. Then I head to work for 20am. I go to bed 7-8pm every night. I’ve done this for past two weeks I make myself an overnight oats and eat it before I head for the walk. My question is I’m I over working my body? I live this schedule.

nothing wrong with that schedule as long as you are making progress, still have energy and not getting ill .
you are going to be early so getting up at 3am is no biggy .. I get up at 4am and go to bed at 10pm ... so you get more sleep than me0 -

Agreed. I go to bed at 9:30 and am up at 4:20 for the gym.
OP, why do you think this would be over working your body?0 -
You could be overworking your body if you're doing this every day, depending on what you're doing in the gym and your starting activity level - this is true for anyone with any schedule who overtrains. You're getting enough sleep, so you should be fine if you're not overtraining.1

As long as you get adequate sleep and your making progress (as others have said) you'll be fine.
I've been getting up as 4:30am for the past 18 months or so 5 days a week to hit the Gym at 5am for the same reasons as you. I'm usually in bed by 21-22:00 any later than that and I start to struggle the next morning.
Saturdays I'm up at 5am as the gym doesn't open until 6am and Sundays I get to lie in until 6am as it opens at 7am.
Listen to your body and if you need a rest day then rest.0 -
IF you're getting enough sleep, your body doesn't actually know/care what time the clock says.
That being said, make sure that your training program has appropriate rest cycles built in or is programmed properly for an every day program.0 -

I get up at 3:45, at the gym by 4:30, workout til 6:00, at work by 7:00. Work til 3:30, back to the gym to finish workout. Home whenever, dinner, in bed by 7:45. Five days a week.
I'm not overworking my body. I have two rest days a week, and I deload my weights when I start to feel too rundown at the gym.1 -

Just to clarify the timeline
3am wakeup.
45 minute walk
4:30 arrival
there's 45 minutes missing. Really closer to 30, because I get eat/dress time
hour workout
5:30 depart
7am arrive-Again, there's time missing here.

As long as you're getting adequate sleep, working out a 3AM is fine. I used to work nights and on "days" off I would end up at the gym around midnight.0
