            Happy Sunday, everyone!
Home from a half-day of Carp fishing, I caught an 11-pounder, and my husband landed a 16-pounder on my rod. We love fishing, catch and release, we fish almost every weekend, either from the bank, from our kayaks or our little bass-buggy boat. I love being on, in or around the water.
Good week this week. I have been in the 203s all week. First time I haven't popped up to 204 or higher. I have been in the 203s since June 1st.
Saw a new daily low of 203.1 yesterday, first new low since April 30th. Was hoping for a 202 number today, but I overdid it on yard work yesterday so my muscles are mad and that means water retention. 203.8 today.
 Maybe next week
I have been wearing clothes all week that haven't fit in a long time, and they look and feel good now. People are noticing too, which is nice.
It's more than just about the numbers. It's looking and feeling good, and being able to do things that aren't as easy when we are carrying extra weight.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
 Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
 MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goal: 180 in however long it takes.
 Weekly averages:
 May 21st to May 27th: 204.5
 May 28th to June 3rd: 204.4
 June 4th to June 10th: 203.5
Loss for June: 1 lb. WOOOOOOHOOOO
 MFP Loss: 29.5 lbs.
Total cumulative loss since mid 2015: 39.5 lbs.
 Until next week,
 Move more, eat less.
Woohoo!! The non-scale victories are the best! Loose clothing, complements... I'm so proud of you Jenn.1

You copy the prior post and paste so you can edit. You can't change the old post I'm afraid.1

I weigh in the morning in my underwear and have no problem going up 5 lbs in a day, and often, I really hold onto water especially if I eat salty food. I think that is fairly common.

I appreciate your encouragement, Tramaine I'm your cheerleader too. Sometimes I feel like taking a vacation from the scale too, but I am afraid of the not knowing. I'm your cheerleader too. Sometimes I feel like taking a vacation from the scale too, but I am afraid of the not knowing.
Of course yesterday I jinxed myself, I was 204.1 this morning. My body telling me not to get too comfortable in thinking I am losing again. Muscles are still sore, so it's temporary, and sore is OK because I worked my body and got some excercise.
We all have our motivators. For me, the non-scale perks help keep me going when the scale is doing its best to undermine me.
Ah the head games we play with ourselves!
I am more stubborn than the slow loss.
Hang in there, girlfriend. We are both getting there.

I went in the wrong direction, too.... a lot of it is water weight, especially after eating salt. I’m hoping though, that the overall trend will be negative. But, I feel you! It sucks to feel like you’re doing it right, and then see the opposite on the scale. We got this though! We can do it!1

We'll be each others cheerleaders. Pushing through to fight the war on fat! And, yes, I've been tempted to weigh myself but I know the outcome will be worth the wait--or weight--literally! :-) haha0

Many times on this journey I have had times where I gained instead of losing even though I was eating right and exercising! Try not to get too frustrated! It could be some thing small like your body is retaining water because you ate something salty or the week before your monthly usually causes bloating and water retention. Bloating around that time can be fluctuations of around 5 pounds!!
Women are built to retain fat stores for birthing so we naturally have a hard time losing weight - it will come! I’ve found that reducing carbs helps and if I really want them, have them earlier in the day or around my workout time!
 You got this!!
