Broken ribs - ouchy

Options
I've just recently broken my ribs - high up on the right side - very sore

What exercise have others who has also been through this done while they are healing?

The last time I did this (almost a year ago exactly!) I was away on holidays so exercise wasn't exactly part of my plan then anyway!

I'm not stressing out about it and I guess I will figure stuff out as time goes on, but it would be interesting to hear other suggestions...

I had been doing a lot of Bikram Yoga and walking the dog. I guess yoga is out and my chubby dog might get a few extra walks

Just be careful if your dog is a 'puller'!! I've never had broken ribs, but I once walked a friend's out of control dog and had a sore upper back for DAYS afterwards because she pulled so hard!

Why do your ribs keep breaking should be fixed first!

Last year it was my left side while indoor sky-diving, this time it is the right side after tripping in hole in footpath and falling onto my camera.

Bones all good - just clumsy owner...

Walking's about all you can do really, you're limited by anything making you breath hard. Just do me a favour and hit your calcium RDA, just incase
