Fitbit sync issues?

Is anyone else having issues with their Fitbit syncing? Mine wasn’t syncing yesterday so i had to disconnect it from both apps and put it back on. That fixed the issue but now it’s doing it again. Advice?

Mine hasn’t worked since the last iOS update. Fitbit seems to be working okay & MFP is working okay. They’re just not talking to each other!!5

Mine was not working over the weekend but all is well today and yesterday.0

I'm having problems syncing again. What about you?2

Yep. Not working. Again. I’ve been able to get around it by disconnecting and reconnecting it, but who wants to do that 500 times/day?4

I'm having trouble too.9 -
Jeez, seems like every week there's an issue! Driving me crazy7

I had syncing issues yesterday morning, but funnily enough, when I restarted my phone it all worked again! Been fine since.0

having issues yet again so I unsynced mine and logging manually. I have had enough.I use MFP on my pc and fitbit on my phone.0

Oh, I’ve just realised that I’m having syncing issues again..... sigh.....1

Me too0

OK I have found crazy way around this issue. I have another app called pacer which syncs with fitbit for steps and I have syncd Pacer to Myfitnesspal and now I see my steps showing on the MFP app. Kind of a pain but it works i guess

I just noticed a few minutes ago that my FitBit and MFP haven't synced since about 10am today...first time I've noticed it, but c'mon MFP...figure out what's going on!2

Absolute piss take. It's happening far too often.8

Agreed. It's ridiculous.5 -
This morning MFP stopped recording my FItBit activity but calories from here are still showing up on the FitBit app fine. It’s a MFP issue2

And MFP upgrading Monday. Not holding my breath. At least I have the fitbit/MFP thing figured out even if MFP doesn't.4

I had installed Pacer a few weeks ago when we were having the synching issues,,uninstalled it just last night! Guess I'll install it again as a backup cuz this happens too much0 -

Thought I had avoided the fitbit sync issues this week but no. Between that and the loss of my decimal point on the keypad I don't know what's more irritating. Hoping the next upgrade shows some improvement.0

It seems to happen only on the weekends... I had issues last weekend and now again this weekend. I keep having to document and reconnect for it to update!1

This is getting ridiculous now! It’s at the stage where I am wondering if it will work each day!4

I’m getting ready to ditch MFP and just track on the Fitbit app.9

Mine stopped as well.0

I've been adding my adjustment by adding the excess amount Fitbit shows on the main food/calorie screen (# calories in, # calories over or under).
I just add it as Exercise (minutes): Walking 15 min/km in the MFP diary.
Right now Fitbit says: 1399 cals in, 53 cals over. So I know my total at this point in the day is 1399-53=1346 calories.
Hope this helps someone.3 -
Same issues here. I definitely got 8500 steps yesterday but MFP only logged 3000. 🤔😩0

I quit even trying go get them to sync. It seems like it would stop syncing so I'd manually enter my workout into Mfp and then suddenly it would sunc and I'd have double the workout listed. I just untethered them. Crap on it. I like being able to manually enter my stuff on Mfp, I just wish you could enter multiple workout things at once instead of doing each type separately.0

I unsynced my fitbit and on the fitbit app I look at track exercise, tap on that and then it gives me the time and calories I burned for that exercise, whether its a walk or whatever, then I go into the exercise part of MFP and log it manually.that way I get my excersie calories in MFP logged. sure its a pain but it works.1

The one solution I found was to use another app called PACER that syncs with fitbit for steps, then connect PACER to MFP and use it for steps and it has been syncing for me.0

it has happened to me again today so enough is enough - accounts disconnected and staying that way. will stick to my calorie goal and do my fitbit stuff as a bonus1
