Success/struggles of the week: i have been making some slow progress, my weight is down a little and so is rhe trend. I continue to work on keeping my snacks reasonable and in check. This doesn't come easy. Some nights are a real uphill climb, i just can't find the will to walk away and not make excuses for coming back. It sounds funny as i type, but some nights it's a reality, i actually reason with myself to justify going back to the kitchen knowing well that i am actually going to get more snacks, even if i had my share already. Sleep is in need of improving, I don't get enough hours and wake up so tired.
@bananasandoranges, that would actually put me in the low end of my range. Besides, it's a pretty fluid thing, i definitely can stand losing a few pounds even below that.7 -

I am starting to get my home gym set up! I’ve been wanting a home gym for forever and I’m finally getting one! So excited. I get really stressed out bringing things into my house especially big things but I know I’ll use it. Yesterday I spent a lot of the day cleaning out my basement (which is where my weights are going) and man that is a chore. My basement is disgusting and filled with spiders. Lol. And my husband says he’s going to build me a squat rack! He loves me lol.

Successes/struggles of the week: yo, I'm the one who is eating to benefit my liver: keeping saturated fat and sugar/substitutes on the LOW, LOW, and eating lots of vegetables (and a modest amount of fruit) for a constant wash of nutrients, and lots of fiber...
I'm really enjoying the healthy liver diet, and I credit it with almost effortlessly getting me where I wanted to be (the bottom of my maintenance range), and then some. Had many many chores to do this past week, and couldn't get to the gym as much, but was able to deal with the lower TDEE. Hey, no complaints!

Success/struggles of the week: A few days late...but I made it back to 131 from 134 -- and the quest for the low 120's (where I was a year ago) continues! We adopted a year-old lab mix from an animal shelter this week - she had been found in an abandoned building with other pups -- and the shelter had her on "lock down" -- she wasn't up for adoption (all the other ones had been adopted out) -- but they saw her responding to us, and after going down there for three days and walking/playing with her, they said she was ours! I don't think this dog (who is the sweetest dog we've ever had -- she is our fourth rescue dog and they've all been great) has ever lived in a house before -- we had to teach her about the stairs -- but now she is sleeping on our bed (loves it! -- no comments please -- it's not YOUR bed! lol!) and today she started giving kisses! She is dreadfully underweight (is at 39 lbs. and should be around 55!) -- it has been quite the week and I am spending lots of time outdoors and walking/jogging with her and playing and, well, just get yourselves a dog for exercise!! Success/Struggles: Losing about 1/2 pound a week this month, hope to continue that in July. That should put me smack dab in the center of a mentally good scale range. I want to make my maintenance range be 135 to 142 so that I never approach the BMI overweight in normal fluctuations. So good news is that is on track.
Struggles: so dang tired. Feels like all I do is work, get ready for work and sleep or try to sleep (hot flashes and mid of night insomnia for a couple hours not helping). I’ve managed to keep up the strength training but cardio is minimal, and I really can’t eat much if I don’t get cardio burns in.
So it is a mixed bag. But my cats have been adorable all week, so that tips the scales to favorable, yes? lol

Successes/struggles of the week: My Fitbit watch band broke! At first, I was super panicky about it, then I decided to say “let’s see what happens without it.” Holy crap - didn’t realize how disordered my thinking was with it these days until I stopped wearing it.
Fitbit taught me to move more in order to eat more. Headed out for a 100k charity bike ride in a few... yeah, think I got the habit down now to get out and exercise without Fitbit having to remind me. Lol. Wish me luck!
Otherwise, figuring out the new work situation still. That will be ongoing for a long while, I’m sure. Just taking it all one day at a time....

Hi maintainers! I’ve been on vacay since June 1, but will be back in the states next week. Visited Montenegro, Croatia and Italy. My daily gelatos, wine, bread and pasta have likely not worked in my favor, but it’s been a lovely trip. Will wait a few days after I get back to weigh. I swear, just flying adds 5 pounds.3
