Quality Over Quantity

I have a brother who spent an insane amount of money on a bicycle. Or at least what I consider an obscene amount to spend on a bicycle. Actually he now has two bicycles. He could’ve purchased a cheap, used car for that kind of money. But when I went for a ride on one of those bikes, I discovered just how much more enjoyable a bike ride can be on a quality piece of equipment like that. The pedaling was almost effortless.

I understand that not everyone has the means to afford the finest quality in all aspects of their life - least of all myself. But what is something that you are willing to splurge on to get utmost quality in return? You don’t have to disclose the amount of money you spent on said thing or experience. Please, no bragging about dollar amounts. Just tell us your “thing,” whatever it may be :)

For me one thing is FOOD. Life is short, eat good food :D . I haven’t gone 100% organic, more like 5% :D , but still I gotta eat good. If I really, really want some kind of food I’ll get it.

    I'm a cycling enthusiast...so yeah, my bike.

Some people think I spent an obscene amount of money on my bike until I tell them how much the really high end one's go for. I won't go that far...I'm not a pro...but I have a pretty nice carbon road bike.

I also have 2 bikes. My other is for racing cyclocross.

Baking and cake decorating equipment or haberdashery stuff. I just can't control my excitement. It is a real test of my self-control to walk out with nothing more than what I went in for

Youtubers have me buying expensive makeup that I'm not sure is worth it but I feel rich when I use it so there's that.

Sunglasses. Although when it comes to shades for me its quality AND quantity. I have far too many but I love them all and they are worth every penny.

I also agree with tires and mattresses.

Good call. Better to have 1 or 2 good ones than 20 or 30 miserable ones.
