I have a size 12 pair of jeans I used to wear, and two other jeans I bought when I first realised I'd gained weight. I tried them on in my size, and knew I didn't want to wear jeans at that size, so I bought the two for one deal, where I bought size 11 and size 10. (All Aussie sizes, by the way). I can get the 12 and 11 on, but not wear them comfortably, yet. I'm so close to slaying two pairs of dragon pants! Looking forward to the size 10 as well, of course...7

Mini-goal 1: Get to 14lbs (first stone). Hoping to get there mid-July. Passed 10lbs today and am delighted
Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.8 -
New Mini-Goal: 15lbs lost, so I can hunt down the new dragonpants boss. I'll be in the dark wood of uncharted territory with dragons unknown. Only 15 pounds 'till the end of the well-known path!9

My mini goals for this week are
- log everything & keep within targets
- 10,000 steps per day
- 2 gym sessions
- See scale number slip below 240 (please!)
My slightly bigger motivation is I’ve been invited for Christmas in Thailand with my aunt’s family who are all super fit and sporty and I don’t want to feel totally huge and self conscious or that I can’t keep up.11 -
Ten weeks til my 47th birthday - ten pounds would be great but 7.5 would get me into the next "decade."
But more, to fit into some awesome dresses that have been hanging in the closet for over 6 years.12 -
Nothing is motivating me food-wise. I'm so off track.
In the weight room, though, breaking state record in bench press is sooooo close!12 -
I hit that next decade goal I've been wanting for weeks! I started fitting into the next size down shorts from years ago, and I was almost able get on some pajama pants I couldn't fit into when I bought them. (i couldn't try them on instore, and was too embarrassed to take them back) These are my new short term goal pants!9

Getting out of the 160s! I've been pretty much maintaining for the whole year since I don't mind my current size but I'm still a point away from a healthy bmi so that would be nice! Time to get a gym membership again as well! If only my work wasn't a 30 minute drive away since we have showers and a nice gym for only 6 bucks a month.9

I'd like to lose about 7-8 lbs before my vacay in late August in anticipation of gaining said pounds back over that week.6

Having the energy to get in 8000-10000 steps a day every day and at least 1 workout a week during radiation. Weight goal is to lose 5.3 lbs.17

My boyfriend has washed my dragonpants (apparently I had just left them on the floor after trying them on the other morning). I honestly don’t know if that makes them tighter or looser, but we’ll see.
Also, I remembered my dragonshirt and tried it on the other morning. The shirt itself is a very loose shape, it’s literally a one-size-fits-all thing, but it has elbow-length sleeves that don’t stretch. Up until this point I have tried it on regularly and haven’t been sure whether this dragon should be slain by slipping through it with skinny arms, or by ripping the seams open by my massive bicep guns. Yesterday, I tried it on and felt like maybe losing some arm flab* is in fact possible. It’s not comfortable yet, but we are getting there.
*I’m 26 and luckily not a lot of flab, so I was honestly unsure of whether losing inches from my arms without losing muscle was possible.4 -
After breaking through a five month plateau...yup, 5 months at exactly the same weight every week and I never gave up...I am so close to "One-derland" I can taste it. The personal trainer I have been working out with for the past year and a half is moving out of the area in August and I would really love to get there before she leaves...just about 10 lbs to go.16

I have a charity event next month. I found the perfect dress that "fits" but highlights my ... areas for improvement -unless I'm wearing a Spanx bodysuit. My mini goal is to be able to wear that dress to the event without the bodysuit.11

I want a flat tum by the time I move from Spain next fall. I'm doing some work on it.
