Should I reset my starting weight?

In a few days, it will be a year of me logging all my food and I’ve only lost about 3 pounds according to my “starting weight” last year. So should I reset my starting weight to my current weight or just keep it set to my highest weight that it was last year? Just curious. Maybe I’ll get serious about losing weight THIS year haha

I left my start weight at my highest recorded weight...even before I started logging food on this site. The only person who cares is me.

I keep my starting weight at the heaviest I’ve ever been, even though I lost some weight before then, then gained it back and more. It reminds me just how far I’ve come!

I would leave it. Great to look back over the years and see how you have progressed.

Love the cat. And yes I move my goal post all the time.

Thank you! That’s a great way to look at it 😊

I would personally keep it because I like to recognize the achievement that I'm 3 lbs lighter now than I used to be last year - most people are usually heavier each year. It doesn't really matter, though. If you find it more motivating to count how much you've lost this year that's also fine. Whichever you want, doesn't make a difference.
