Go with the short girders for aesthetics.
Not that easy when dealing with tidal waters. Really we have to go with what works. Plus the foundations are gonna be very expensive on this project, so bigger spans will be preferred by DOT...I’m sure you wanted to know all of that...you’re welcome.0 -

Took a nap after my workout and a shower. 114°F ... I missed it all, as temps are already on the decline. Going to run to the orchards before nightfall to get decent 4miles in each way.
