In 5 week you will weigh....

Is this record broken? Few weeks ago, it said I would weigh 210. Since then I dropped about 10 lbs. So if the diet is largely unchanged, and I'm 10 less than han when it said that, the hen how in 5 MORE WEEKS would it still say 210?

You forgot the most important part of it "If every day was like today". That means if you ate the same exact amount of calories and burned off the same exact amount of energy as that particular day every single day for the next five weeks you would weigh approximately xyz pounds. It's meant as a fun little projection, not a gospel truth. The disclaimer is even there when you complete your diary.7

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's a bit rubbish anyway.3

It's rubbish. It also doesn't take fluctuations in waterweight into account, which means this whole thing doesn't work for us whooshers. TOM? Eating a bit more salt or travelling? All lead to more water weight.1

Actually, I AM losing weight - down about 25 lbs since starting earlier this year. Which is why I was wondering why that number would not change. I DID go change me current weight in the goals section, so it ain't that.
Oh, well -- ignore and continue.1 -
At first I thought you meant “is there a record”? To which I would have replied..,,.
Once I weighed in at 125 and had such a huge binge it said, ....if every day.... you would weigh 150.
25# in five weeks. That has to be a record. Luckily, “every day” didn’t happen.10 -

I don't complete my diary so I don't have to deal with seeing it, haha.4 -
Go to your "home page," click on the tiny scale that is pictured just under your avatar picture and "change today's weight." It's not the same as changing your goal weight. Good work losing that 25lbs!0

I may have had the opposite record last time I got really sick to my stomach.. my entire days calories were 1/2 a banana and 3 TBSP of Pepto as that was everything that would stay down... I was 265 then, and was told that I would weigh 243lbs in 5 weeks.1 -

If you actually logged the Pepto, you deserve another record!!5 -

Over the years I have developed the very good habit of logging EVERYTHING that had calories, including medicine, vitamins, and 'tastes' when I cook (I just up my serving a bit to compensate). So yeah my food logs have NyQuil, Pepto, Halls....4 -
If when you were a child someone told you "If every week was like this week, you will be five inches taller in five weeks." it would be something to think about but wouldn't happen.
I know it is just an estimate used for motivation, but I like to keep track of it.... just for fun. (I am geeky like that) If anyone else wants to keep track of it FOR FUN I created a spreadsheet template that will keep track of it. Each day you put in your current weight, and each night the predicted weight. In five weeks it will show you how far off the prediction is. It graphs the difference between your weight and the predicted weight. It graphs your progression as well. (That graph is available on the apps and the website but I included it.)

Thank you, I added a single cell to average the differences between your predicted weight and actual weight. It will show a divide by zero error until the numbers are in. The formula is:[ ="Average Difference: "&AVERAGE(H:H) &"lbs." ]

I'm surprised it allowed you to close your day with that few calories!0 -

Might not have closed it. I haven't closed mine in years.0 -

If I close it with too few calories it gives me this error.

Closing it only gives you the prediction and posts to your feed. For folks that don’t use them, there’s no need to close it. Or if you have the rare undercalorie day for whatever reason, you can skip it. It all saves either way.1 -
Today I was within one tenth of my predicted weight five weeks ago but that is the closest the prediction has been.0

It gave me a warning. But I could still close it.0
