Alcohol & Dieting

You know why you shouldn’t drink while dieting?
It’s not the calories of the booze & mixers.
It’s not the sugar.
It’s not the macros.
It’s the standing in front of your refrigerator with the door open, going, “What am I hungry for?” and taking a taste of everything to see if that answers your question.
And then doing that again about 30 minutes later.
And again 30 minutes after that.
That’s why you really shouldn’t drink alcohol while trying to lose weight.

This is sooooo true, I love my wine and will always save calories for it, however, as soon as I've drunk my last glass I then go on the hunt for food and can quickly consume anything from 250 calories to 1000 calories within minutes (depending on what I eat)....and before I know it I've exceeded my calorie goal.0
