Weight gain after working out and eating better.

I’ve been consistently working out for about 2 years now, but recently had to take a month off due to whiplash. I just started working out again in the last 7 days and I decided to weigh myself... I’ve put on 3lbs!! 😞 I know I shouldn’t weigh myself this quick, but I’ve never run into this problem before. I’ve been eating well and keeping my carb intake under 170. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks!
I’ve been running 15 min, doing Bikini body mommy, which is usually about 20-25 min long and also doing yoga for about 20-30 min daily.

You need to track longer. Also eat in a deficit.2

Exercise can come with some water retention for muscle repair, so some of this could be water weight. Carb count is less relevant than calorie count. How many calories are you eating?4

I’m doing 1400 calories a day. The apps adds more after exercise but I don’t use the extra calories.1

Give yourself more time. Carbs don't matter. Keep tracking.0
