Hello all, just started mfp today after slow success with Sw and wanted to give this a try. Would love to get in touch with others and gain some tips and be accountable. Need to loose two stone to feel healthier and so clothes fit! Looking forward to hearing your stories and making some friends along the way 😀

    Hey there,

    Some top tips:
    • Read the Most Helpful posts (pinned at the top of each post)
    • Set up your account honestly and be accurate in your logging
    • Don't automatically set yourself to the most aggressive rate of loss, with 2 stone to lose you will be better off aiming for 1lb per week loss and then adjusting down to 0.5lbs per week when you get closer to goal. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon, if you lose the weight at a healthy rate you're more likely to keep it off and ease you into maintenance - maintenance is a lot harder than the loss.
