Lowering my carbs and being more active

Went for my annual physical in February 2018. Weighed in at 265. Dr. told me to exercise 2.5 hours per week and lose 10 lbs.

I've been using MFP lately to monitor my carbs - started this plan in earnest this week. Trying to keep under 100 grams per day (50 grams at lunch and 50 at dinner). So far, I've lost 10.8 lbs. My morning routine is a cup of coffee with half and half and 30 minutes of brisk walking. Lunch is a sandwich and dinner is protein/veg/rice.

Feels like this could work...I will keep you posted.

Sounds pretty much what I've been doing only I left out the rice and just had the protein and veggies for dinner till I lost a significant amount of weight then slowly reintroduced it back. I still keep a very close eye on my rice/potatoe/bread intake as it's my usual binge food of choice.

Good luck..... what ever you do, try and keep it to something you know you can sustain moving forward. :)

And your routine sounds very similar to mine only I walk at lunch. B)
