Like fasting minds.

Do we have any OMAD or 24 hr+ fasters around? I am new to the 24hr fasting club a step up from my 16/8 and warrior diet. Would love to hear your experiences and how you handled keeping your mind active and not focus on your desire to quell your hunger pangs lol.

I’m OMADing..) So far I’m loving it. I’m losing weight. My worry is my appetite is gone. I have to force my self to eat.

If you have a desire to quell your hunger pangs, maybe OMAD is not for you. It does sound exciting, but eating well is so important, and a bit hard to fix if it goes terribly wrong, that it might be a better idea to find another club.

I have been doing the omad plan now for a few months.. I started at just over 14stone 7.. And currently at 11stone 8.. Works out that I have lost about a stone a month.. Most of the time I don't really feel hungry... I eat a really good meal once I finish work and something sweet too.. I drink lots and lots of water through the day.. And I also squeeze a lemon in my water in a morning too. And on the weekend I pretty much go out for meals and eat what I want. I don't track on a weekend either.

I actually just completing my 37 hr fast (testing the waters). I was hungry at first when it came close to the time I would normally eat but then it pasted. I kept my mind busy. Drank about 2 gallons of water per day. Am breaking my fast with a mango and a couple small apples. I worked out during my fast and much to my surprise, my energy skyrocketed. I broke all of my old PRs. I was shocked. I am definitely into the IF my aim is to work my way up from my current 16/8 to a 3 - 5 day fast. The weight wasn't my main goal but you can't beat the benefits. I train very hard. I just want my health to be both inward and outward.

I do OMAD , but not strict about it. I’ve just started keto, so I’ve found it a lot easier to go longer between meals as I feel full after a meal. I tend to do OMAD if I know I’m going to be busy but if I need to have 2 meals I do that too. I tend to eat my main meal earlier in the day lunch time and if I am going out/socialising then I have a smaller one later which makes it easier for me.
