I didn’t do sh**** for my 30th, except cry, eat chicken wings and get drunk by myself. I was in a very bad place mentally. I don’t really care about celebrating my birthday.

I dunno, chicken wings and booze sounds like a party to me.

But you get my sympathy for being in a bad place mentally/emotionally then. So was I. However, I did not get chicken wings or booze when I turned 30.. lame.

30 concert with 20 of my closest friends.
40 bought a house threw a huge party
50 was co-hosting a car meet so a rally followed by a pasta and wine party
    60 trip to vegas
65 in a few days, a family and friends party, then a west coast cruise for two with SO (booked it last night)

Haven't started planning my 70th yet.

    Cheers, h.

My son was christened on my 30th birthday, by my 40th I was divorced and did 3 days of gigs, for my 50th later this year I'm happily remarried and we're going to Miami and Mexico.

I love this. Life is a celebration. Getting older means you had more experiences, more life, more challenges, more sunshine, new days with new experiences. <3

I am excited for my 40th! I should start planning something....
I think I am going to start taking bucket list items and making them goals for different years. Maybe even birthday gifts to myself!
