Anyone else getting gastric bypass?

I'm having surgery August 9th and was told I have to track everything and this app was suggested. Was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation. It'd be nice to have an online buddy through this who was going through the same process.

    Yes I am working on getting the gastric sleeve in two months. Started on the road on Tuesday with seeing the Dr, Dietician, and counselor.

    I had the bypass two years ago. It was recommended I track my calories here. It was useful for honesty before surgery and to make sure I was hitting my minimums after.

    I managed to stick close to my targets afterwards so I avoided most unpleasant side effects. I kept my hair but my nails were brittle for a while. All good now.

    I had my gastric sleeve last Friday. So far so good!

    That's awesome how was the recovery ? I'm worried about how long it takes to bounce back from surgery.
