Hey so I’m just starting but I know I have an endomorphic body type. What percentage should my macros be at? I need to keep carbs pretty low and protein and fat high.

Endomorph, as in overweight? You just have to eat at a calorie deficit.6

Somatotypes have been pretty well debunked scientifically.
Just eat a well-balanced, well-rounded, nutritious diet, within your calorie goal: Enough protein, enough fats, plenty of nice veggies and fruit, and a few less nutrition-dense treats now and then if you like, just for the joy.
Satiation (feeling satisfied and full) is really important, too, but very individual, so experiment until you figure out what keeps you full and happy. If carbs make you crave-y, or you're diabetic or insulin resistant, eat fewer of them. If carbs make you feel energetic and happy, eat as many as good overall nutrition allows.
The MFP default macros are a decent starting point for most people.
You'll do fine!
(I looked like an endomorph until I lost nearly a third of my body weight. Now I look more like a mesomorph. Go figure.

The good news is that you're not endomorph because those somatypes don't exist. They were originally linked to character traits, which is something the Nazis embraced. So forget about it and just eat at a deficit. You will lose weight.6

That's not a thing.

Somatotypes are about as relevant to weight loss as your horoscope. In other words, they're complete BS.
Here's a good guide for setting up your macros regardless of whether you're an endomorph, mesomorph, polymorph, heffalump, or Taurus in the house of Scorpio with Gemini ascending: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/819055/setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets/p16 -
Right or left handed endomorph, mesomorph, polymorph, heffalump, or Taurus in the house of Scorpio with Gemini ascending?5

I'm an apple, my belly jiggles when I laugh.
Cheers, h.
(I think the heat is getting to me, I'm getting silly.

Brown eyes = sushi, Mexican food and peanut butter.
I want to believe!4 -
Hazel eyes, bubbles or gin, steak and prawns, cheesecake, or anything with cream.
Had to get the hazel in before someone posted and I found out I was on the wrong diet.
Cheers, h.6 -

Mine change color with my mood, so it seems. Usually blue, sometimes green (upset/crying). If they look gray, best to duck and cover.1 -
In all seriousness, there's a guy who claims to be able to diagnose medical conditions by the color of your eyes. He sells very expensive photography equipment for taking pictures of irises. I think it's called iridology and it has absolutely no scientific basis. He would probably love the idea of marketing diets based on eye color.0

Can confirm the gin. Also, planning prawns for lunch.
(I have blueish greenish eyes that occasionally verge on hazelish. I guess my diet is just confused.)

I have very odd dark blue eyes with a hint of grey. That means I’m not allowed peanutbutter, cake or beer. Instead lots of carbs, especially from bread, pasta and rice. I think I could do that

I would be very lucky on the eye color diet. My eyes are light greyish green with blue undertones with a dark blue ring on the outside and a bit of yellow-brown in one eye, so I get to eat everything.rheddmobile wrote: »In all seriousness, there's a guy who claims to be able to diagnose medical conditions by the color of your eyes. So I basically have every illness imaginable?
