Not for me.
I eat more food, it's just lower calories. I never drink water.6 -

Number one is to consume less calories than you expend.8 -

Wait a minute, you bumped your post from over a year ago with this declaration?
A consistent calorie deficit over time is the one and only thing you have to do to lose weight. As far as hydration is concerned, all water based fluids count. You don't have to get some arbitrary amount each day. You can use the color of your urine as a guide.6 -

Can you tell this to my cat, please? He won’t take it from me. (And was therefore hospitalised with dehydration and severe constipation earlier this month, which is no small matter when you’re 19)
Of course, he’s trying to gain weight rather than lose it. And seems to be doing the opposite of saving money...
...hey, anyone want cat pictures?9 -

What works is consistently consuming less calories than you expend. By whatever means you accomplish that.9 -

No one is mad at you
I was overweight for twenty years too. But the thing that worked for me was consistent logging, using my food scale to weigh everything and exercising. I drink water but not too much.5 -

May I recommend not continuing on with the 800 cal you were boasting about yesterday?
I suggest starting by logging what you are eating now for at least a week. Review those logs to see what changes you can make that will get you to your goal without being a significant sacrifice. There is no need to follow a specific diet plan, there is no need to make this harder than it already is. Focus on the things you want to add. If you want to increase fitness, focus on adding in activities that you enjoy (or at the very least tolerate). If you want to increase fruit and veggie intake, focus on adding in at least one serving of veggies with your meals, and a fruit or two for snacks.5 -

Pointing out that you are wrong is people actually trying to help you.
They aren't mad at you.
If you put water consumption as #1 for weight loss you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how your body works and losing weight works. Maybe that's why a year has passed?
Suggest you go and read the very helpful sticky threads at the top of the Getting Started forum.8 -
Thanks for the input.i realize we are all working on our bodys.you are my friends and this has already helped me.2
