How ever much you want?
Unless you've got a medical condition that indicates otherwise, you will be fine drinking to thirst.
Keep in mind that virtually everything you drink (except for alcohol), and a big portion of what you eat, also contributes to meeting your need for hydration.

Enough that your pee is light yellow to clear.
You just need to be adequately hydrated. Water intake has nothing to do with weight loss, per se (in the sense that drinking lots of water doesn't make you lose weight faster).5 -
the goal is 64 oz a day, but for the most part I drink about 36-48 and I am well hydrated. The color of your urine is a good indicator.0

I carry around a 32oz water bottle and drink 1.5-2 bottles a day so... 48-64oz per day. On really hot and dry days I drink up to 3 bottles (96oz). I started with the goal of a minimum of a bottle per day because I used to be really bad for not drinking anything. But now its just habit and those are the numbers I average. Hope that helps!1

I was out in the sun today doing moderate activity in 105F+ degree heat for almost 5 hours. I was drenched in sweat. Yesterday I was indoors in the air conditioning pretty much all day and mostly sedentary.
My hydration needs on those two days were nowhere near the same.7 -
Thanks Guys. You never know what is right with the medai these days. My husbands has said for years the same as JaneJellyroll mentioned in her comment above. I am trying to drink at least 2 litres per day. I agree I don't thinkit helps weight loss but it is healthier to be hydrated.1

Half your body weight in ounces. So 62.5 ounces. That's what I was told by a doctor. Hope that helps2

Drink half your body weight in ounces. If you sweat excessively maybe drink a tad bit more3

I drink a glass of water with meals and then whenever I am thirsty. My urine is very light colored. I am hydrated enough.
There really is not a set amount of water for everyone every day as it depends on your individual conditions. If your urine is light colored and you do not feel thirsty I would not stress about increasing your fluid intake.
