Weight doesn’t move! Help

Hi All! So I am 37 female, I have gone up & down with my weight as low as 128 as high is 200! But my typical adult weight tended to be in the 145 zone. I’m 5’4” athletic type body medium to small boned. I’ve always had a belly, always - and always wished I could see my belly button
Anyway, I was married last year with a pretty low calorie lowing carb diet plus almost daily mini work it’s I got from 145 to 133 and was pretty happy with how I looked!!
As soon as I got married I let loose a little & im up to 149.5 and unless I cut carbs maybe I’ll see 148.8, but doing low calories, working out, still 149.5 to the number. Wtf!
Yesterday I ate 1300 cals max, I carefully counted. I am doing my 10k steps. Is age really that big of a factor? Do I need to eat 1,000 cals and see what that does? I’m scared to go too low bc I’m also trying to have a baby! So it’s kind of tough spot with trying to lose weight before pregnancy plus I’m older. My husband says I look great but I want to fit better in my clothes and really liked how I looked at 130s. Does anyone have any insights...,.
I’ve been reading tons of books... The one that makes the most sense is The Anderson Method. He is pretty strict with calories during the week and a little looser on weekends. He promoters “under eating” and for me it would be like 1,000-1,300 cals then eating up to 1800 on weekends.
So lately even if I eat 1300 or 2000 my weight stays the same. I may as well eat more if that’s the case lol!
Thanks for reading & any help. I’m also looking for an accountability buddy near my age range.

No, you have to stick to a calorie deficit, for real, consistently, and for some time, to see real weightloss.
So are you using a food scale?6 -
Set your expectations - you won't lose it quickly and given that you're within normal weight range, you'll be losing about a pound to half a pound a week or so. Which means general fluctuations will mask progress.
Be consistent, log accurately, weight carefully, give it time and you'll get to where you want to be!1 -
Thanks, I’m technically overweight BMI stats. I think under 145 is “normal” so it’s frustrating.... but I guess since I only need to lose 15# it will be a game of patience. Would something like Keto or lower carbs help??1

You lose in accordance with calorie intake/deficit, so low carb will help you if, but only if, it makes it easier for you to eat fewer calories consistently and for a long time.2

You talked to your Dr about trying to have a baby? What does he say you should eat? Just my uneducated impression, but maybe step back and think about your priorities.
And whatever you do, I urge you not to diet. 1100 calories likely isn’t very healthy and certainly isn’t necessary. You can change everything by thinking in terms of living with a few limits and patience. Nobody wants to spend any time on this. You can’t go from 150 to 135 in the blink of an eye any more than you can twitch your nose in New York and instantly be in London. We live within the limits of the physical universe.3 -
If you want to get pregnant eventually, eating too few calories is not a good idea as it will severely mess with your hormones and menstrual cycle. Think about your priorities, and set a small deficit.4

Among the issues facing dieter, perhaps the biggest is FRUSTRATION. I think we all know exactly what you mean. I'll bet the weigh-scale makers love us all for that, as we have all purchased yet another scale, thinking that the old one is STUCK!! LOL. Probably calorie deficit is the real answer to your, and most other questions.1

How long have you been following your current plan and not losing?
Are you using a food scale for all solids? Are you double checking that the database entries you are using are accurate? Are you logging everything - condiments, cooking oil, beverages, nibbles, cheat meals, everything?
You should be expecting to lose @ 0.5-1 lb per week. Losses that small can easily hide behind normal water weight fluctuations, especially in women. You need to patient and accurate, and look at the trend over weeks, not day to day.
Undereating will set you up for a lifetime of yo-yo dieting, and probably reduce your chances of conceiving.

Looking at your diary a lot of things are measured in cups, tablespoons, 1/2 slices, etc...I'd imagine your logging needs tightened up by using a food scale to measure your food.3

Another vote for a food scale!

Great input all! I finally had a woosh and am down 2 lbs. I had just started getting focused with my work outs and yesterday used the food scale & o think it will help for sure!! I also started yoga! Which is great!
I will talk to my Dr as well but the issue I’m having with TTC has to do with something non dieting or hormonal and may require surgery. (I have a blocked tube)... But I will check! And obviously once hopefully when I am pregnant I will be eating more (not reducing calories). However the thought of gaining certainly scares me!
Thanks again 🙏0
