Hi everyone, I have been doing Herbalife for the past month and I’ve lost 11lbs so far. I’m going to continue but I wanted to get anyone that has down Herbalife input and experience.
I was doing Keto which I loved but just wasn’t consistent all the time. So I’ve been doing this, I’ve also been into the IF so I’m incorporating it with my Herbalife change

I swear I didn't know Herbalife was still around and the past week I've heard about it like 10 times. What is it exactly? My husband and I were out of town last weekend and evidently there was a convention in town and all the reps were at our hotel.0

In general, MLM products are sub-standard and overpriced. You could make a protein shake with some greens and fruit in it and take a multi-vitamin for less money and more benefit. If you lost 11 lbs in the month it's because you did the hard work of eating less calories (and maybe lost a little water weight). Give yourself the credit you deserve!
Herbalife doesn't do anything for weight loss except not have a lot of calories. I personally don't find shakes or smoothies filling on their own. So I just log my food and stick to my calorie goal.
You might get a kick out of this when you have a half hour to spare, but my short answer is it's a waste of money. You can do it without it!

Eat less. Move more. Weigh your food and log it. Stay consistent. That's all you need to do. Don't throw your money at the quick fixes and scams.8

Girl, you probably should have done a search before posting this.19

MLM companies seem like they are essentially pyramid schemes but with an actual product. That means the product is typically grossly over-priced. You don't need a special shake or supplement, you can just count calories and eat regular food, but if it works for you and you're happy with it, then by all means go for it! I just think it's a waste of hard earned money.9

Herbalife again???? No one can live on that stuff and if you were....you will eventually binge and binge badly!5

I know a little bit about Herbalife. No I am not a rep or take it but have tried multiple of their products.. for free though.. One thing I will say is their product is actually good. Very good taste and nutrition is pretty good.. extremely over priced and not worth the money.3

Herbal life change? Is this like lifestyle change? Are you planning on using Herbal life to maintain the weight you lost, forever?
Losing weight is just the first step. If Herbal life isn't part of your maintenance plan, have a strategy in place before you get to goal,10 -
I just started and i really am liking it just because it has structure and i need that. the teas are really good and help with appetite suppressing which i def like. the teas so far seem like the best part about it. i agree the shakes are pretty tasty ive tried them all and hate most of them. i dont feel the need to have 2 shakes everyday but it can really help i listen to my body on a day to day basis. 🤗 it can help you get there- i def agree just keep counting calories and working out regardless of when you are on it and when you stop. best of luck8

My dtr in law uses the products & sells it to just friends, so she gives it to me for free. The vanilla protein powder is really good & I like the "healthy meal" powders. I put them in my home made smoothies. that's all I know about it3

... aren't they being sued for false advertising or something?7

and previously liver damage amongst other things.2 -
I used to do Herbalife. It really messed me up. One friend of mine would break out really bad, another used Herbalife and it made her have liver issues. I’ve seen a lot of success with Keto, maybe stick to it2

The only people I know who say they're using it, are the people selling it. I don't actually believe them.8

I'm allergic to snake oil.15

Never seen it growing on trees or in soil. Their business structure comes so close to a pyramid scam.0

People I see post about herbalife are probably just trying to sell the stuff. The original poster only had 6 posts to date.3

I use Herbalife and no I don't sell it. I just like the products and I like having shakes. I do shift work with no lunch break. It makes my life easier. Is it a magic weight loss shake? Absolutely not. It's still a matter of CICO. People can hate it because it's a MLM but to each their own. That doesn't mean it can't work for others.5

Yup! I second what she said! It also looks like other diet fads have descended upon MFP...like OPTAVIA...ie Medifast-rebranded.0
