On these hot summer days, that's a good habit to struggle with. Moderation.

I just crave something cold...I find different frozen fruit bars or I found a frozen yogurt that's really good-cherry chocolate chip. It's lower in cal than ice cream

No sugar Popsicles, about 10 calories each.

I'm a ice cream fan too. Its one of my downfalls. I shouldn't be eating it with my high cholesterol but i haven't mastered self control over it yet. I like the ideas here and i've tried to incorporate eating sugar free popsicles. Its a great alternative. I find that I don't eat ice cream if it I don't buy it! go figure!

I'm an ice cream fan too, in the summer. We have a Dairy Queen located in a spot into town and it's a struggle. I've tried Halo Top and they do have some really good flavors. Mostly I just don't indulge, because I am not sure where it would stop and it's counter to my current goal. I started drinking iced coffee with some sugar free syrup, blended with ice in the blender.

It is okay to eat ice cream for as long as you only consume the right amount. I honestly prefer frozen yogurt.

@PaulChasinDreams So...I'd totally be willing to leave my husband for you. Well, your ice-cream.

Make it fit into your calorie budget.
Or try the Halo Top, Enlightened, or Bryers lower calorie options.
For me, in order to work, ALL foods in moderation, serving size accuracy and logging everything that I eat and drink.
Long term sustainability is my goal. Easier transition when achieving maintenance.
