Burn out before my wedding?

Over the past year and a half, I've lost about 30 pounds (yay!). I'd like to lose another 8-10 before my elopement in mid-September, but I think I'm burnt out. I just can not stick to eating right and going to the gym lately. I'm sure it's partly stress (even though we're eloping, I'm still working on making it a nice day, and we're having a small family party that I have to plan). You'd think looking nice in my dress would be enough motivation, but I'm having the damnedest time. What should I do? I've tried making plans with myself, like "if you stick to it this week, you can schedule a massage," but I just end up eating candy anyway. Why can't I get back to the mindset I had a year ago?
EDIT: I'm starting a new (second) job soon, so free time to go to the gym is going to be sparse. I'm preemptively worried.

Girl, I don't really have an answer - I'm sorry and wish I did - but here's a comment to let you know you're not alone. I'm in almost the exact same boat.2

have a week at maintenance, and see if that helps?
do you need to lose more weight to fit your dress? when is your final fitting?3 -
I'd switch to maintenance. It will help you get your mojo back. Plus, sometimes giving yourself actual permission to eat at maintenance then helps you to eat less. At least that's how it works for me. I can be struggling to stay within my diet calories and then decide to go to maintenance and, suddenly, I won't be as hungry anymore. And I'm talking immediately, not after several days. Taking off that one stressor can make a world of difference.
Does your dress fit right now?2 -
When it comes to weightloss, the only right way to eat, is less. If you use MFP, you're not supposed to use exercise to add to your calorie deficit.
I don't think 8-10 pounds by mid-September is realistic if that's all you have left to lose.0 -

i do a maintenance week every 6 weeks - i usually find the hungriness decreases dramatically as soon as i know i 'can' eat more.0 -
Should I stick to maintenance if I've been basically eating like a trash compactor everyday? My dress fits. In fact, it's being taken in right now. I definitely don't want to gain in the meantime, though.2

If your dress is being altered to fit you now, then you need to really focus on maintaining and NOT lose any more until the wedding.
A correct fit on the dress is going to be more attractive than a smaller you in a bigger and potentially poorly fitted dress.
If it were me, I would eat at maintenance, focus on eating healthy and nutritious foods, and do the workouts that I enjoy the most. If you are stressed then your body needs good nutrition, not trash. You aren't going to feel better eating trash, you will feel better if you support your body nutritionally. Working out should be a stress reducer, if you are not motivated, then maybe just focus on doing whatever workouts you like the most, even if it's just taking a walk though a scenic area. Right now you have a lot going on, just try to keep it stable and hang on to your sanity.2 -
I switched to maintenance a month before my wedding. I lost 20 lbs prior to then and was happy with how i looked in the dress. Like you I had a LOT of stress in the final weeks (got a new job and was working 12 hr days due to situation out of my control. final steps to plan for wedding, organizing friends/family, etc). Take care of yourself and enjoy the excitement leading up to your special day, and feel satisfied with the work you have done.
Also note that there is a difference between maintenance and "eating like trash compactor." Adjust your MFP settings and stick to the new goal calories it gives you. If you stick to that you should be fine.0 -

maintenance may stop the over eating?
plus you dont want to lose more weight and have the dress not fit?1 -
Keep raw veggies prepped and ready to grab. Definitely not candy, but with your busy, stressful schedule it may help a bit. Get up and walk around when you feel the urge to snack. Drink a glass of water.
This is a very special time in your life. No matter what, you will be beautiful! Enjoy your day!0
