I’ve used this app before years ago but I keep falling off the wagon. I hope this time is different my 9 year old told me he wants to eat more to be like me which breaks my heart. Man I hope this works.

    Welcome! MFP works on numbers, not on hope and luck. If you stick to your calorie target, consistently and for real, over time, you lose/maintain weight as desired. Figure out why you keep falling off the wagon, and do something else, and you too will succeed.

    Hello all, I went on this a few years ago, but as of Sunday i'm trying to be consistent and have a new lifestyle and lose 20-25 pounds. It's been hard staying consistent, staying motivated and feeling as though I have to go to the gym. S of late YouTube has been my friend with great at home exercises..

    Welcome to you too! A lifestyle is for life. If you go back to old habits, you go back to old weight.

    If you aim to stay motivated, it's going to be hard to be consistent. You don't have to go to the gym, you lose weight by eating less.
