Flying to San Diego from Chicago next week (4 hour flight each way).
Any recommendations for good reading material (Fitness & diet related)? Thinking of ordering "Convict Conditioning" based on someone else's post.

Not fitness related but "I Am Pilgrim" by Terry Hayes. Best book I've ever read.

Any Paulo Coelho but especially The Fifth Mountain.

Khalid Houseini - The Kite Runner

    The Secret

Robert Ludlum - The Bourne Identity (vastly superior to the movies)

Not fitness related, but "The Compound Effect" is excellent and applies to fitness. Talks about how the compounding of little decisions add to large results.

The Code of the Extraordinary Mind by Vishen Lakhiani. Not specifically about fitness, but more broadly about personal development--including mind, body, spirit, love, education, and work.

By posting most any fitness book, one runs the risk of getting flamed by detractors.

How about : the new rules of lifting

It's an oldie but a good one.
