Hi ladies,
I'm 43, looking to lose about 25 pounds, just finishing up my master's degree while working full time, and a fresh grandma to boot. It's been a long 2 years, but am looking forward to taking control over my life again. I'm looking for a supportive network and am happy to support, as well.
Looking forward to the journey!4 -
Hi everyone! I'm 44 and trying to lose 55 pounds. I've been struggling with my weight for about 7 years, especially after having my daughter. I want to get healthy and be a good example for her (and be around for her!) My diary is open, feel free to add me and we can motivate each-other!5

I'm 41, about 10lbs to lose (have already lost 10), have 2 girls aged 7 and 10, work full time and working on masters degree Currently on my fitness more than anything, as I've had a few injuries on the last couple of years that have really made me appreciate that I need to take care of my body, and make sure it is working to it's full potential for as long as possible. Nice to meet you all!4

I'm 43 with 32 more pounds to lose. Have lost 33 so far. I will be really excited when I get to my goal weight of 130 and with each 5 lbs lost I notice a difference so I love the mini goals too.6

I’m 43, 2 sons, working full time. Have let the pounds pile on since returning to work full time ( 4 years) since I consider food/drink/ eating out to be my ‘reward’ for working hard 😂! Need to lose at least 28lb and would like some friends please 👍🏻.1

Hi you all... I'm 45 need to loose 20lbs.... I have 3 sons (fur babies) I got off track back in April and just can't seem to get back on track... I had the lap band done in 2010 and want from 278 to 170... I am now back to 185.... I know what my problem is (alcohol and junk food) but it's so hard to stay away from my adult beverages... I work graveyard shifts so when I get out of work I'm usually too tired to want to exercise... Always eager and willing to offer support and motivation to others who are on the same journey...1

Hi!
I’m 41 next Tuesday, after gaining and losing 40-60 lbs multiple times over the past 10 years I’m ready to lose weight and feel healthy again...I want to start with 20 lbs and go from there. I have a lot of muscle still, just need to get rid of the fat over it 😳. I have 2 girls, husband, dog, 3 cats, work partime, sell at the farmers market and am supposed to be working on a certificate program. I need support and motivation!!!!2 -

Hi everyone, I am 42 and i lost my spouse in May. I have been struggling to get motivated to workout. I try to eat healthy but when it feels like i have no time to make dinner for my kids it turns to a fastfood night. Tomorrow i am going back to logging food and attempting to stay within the 1200 calorie count.11

Hi all. I'm 42 and need to lose about 7 lbs. I've had two babies in two years and needless to say the weight has not been melting off. I've worked hard on eating right and exercising. My diary is open to friends so add me if you'd like. I can't do my normal exercise (run) right now b/c I have a hip flexor injury but I start physical therapy tomorrow and I'm looking forward to getting back to it soon. For now CICO is working and I'm sticking to it.
I also eat heart healthy as my husband and I both have high cholesterol.2 -
I’m still new to fitness pal and haven’t had the time to navigate it so not sure how to add friends and such. I’m 40 years old, had 3 kids in just under 3 years and I’m trying to lose 25 lbs.0

Just turned 40 a few months back. I’m 5’8 and started at 155 down to 147. After working all day, I just lack the motivation to exercise. Slowly shedding lbs but it’s a lot harder to do nowadays.0

Hi, I’m 43, aiming to lose about 28 pounds, can’t stand going to the gym, so exercise is mainly yoga and walking. Wine & Cheese is my downfall!0

I’m 46, 5’4”, have twin boys (teens) that I homeschool, a 19-year-old niece who lives with us, and I have about 55 lbs to lose. I had a 525-day streak of meal/exercise logging during which I somehow gained 11 lbs. 😩 I have no idea (apparently) how to lose weight and keep it off. Did Keto 2 years ago SUPER STRICT for 6 months, lost 28 lbs. and the second I added any off-keto foods, I gained it all back. I can’t maintain keto with active teens who need to be driven around all the time. So frustrated and hoping for some support and advice that will actually be sustainable for me. Help!!0

Hi all! I am 47, 5'5" and 169lbs. Yuck! That hurts to type that. I have gained almost 30lbs in one year (on and off again) My heaviest weight was 10 years ago at 190lbs. I worked hard and kept it off (down to 143lbs) until now. About me and my woes: My mom diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time. This time is terminal. Basically a waiting game. I eat my worries and lack motivation. Joined a kick boxing class, love it, but it's hard to make myself go to it. My biggest drawbacks are the weekends. I can spend all week keeping track, walking etc. but come the weekend it's beer and no motivation to keep on track. It was hard in my 30's to lose weight, but I am finding it harder now. Is this pre menopause? I hate that I am struggling so much this time around. I hate that I can't fit my clothes anymore. Eating healthy is not a problem for me. It's sticking to it on the weekends and snacking while watching T.V. that is my biggest problem.1

Is there some thing else healthy you can choose to snack on on the weekends? Maybe stocking on that would help?1 -
I'm 45 and currently at my heaviest - 170 I am 5'2" and my goal is to lose 40 but would be happy with 30! I am a single mom of 2 high school girls. I work full-time and struggle with motivation at the end of the day. I have a lot of pain in my hips that my doctor says is just "mild" arthritis but it definitely keeps me from being able to do too much physical activity. I started using MFP, tracking calories and activity a couple months ago.
Just lacking motivation and need get my butt in gear!1
