8 August: 137.25 - My weight was all over the place this week (I went up to 139lbs one day and down to 137lbs the next), despite staying within my calories. But I am happy it averaged out to a pound loss in the end. Only 1.25lbs to lose before I hit my wedding weight goal
15 August: 136.5 - I'm down 0.75lbs but I was really hoping to reach my 136lbs 'wedding goal' this week. I've been doing everything the same but I'm going up and down constantly. Disheartening, but it isn't my first plateau, so I at least know what to expect this time. Doesn't make it any less frustrating! Here's hoping I reach 136 for next week.

I'm baaaaack!! I know it's been a while but I have been on here reading and encouraging everyone on this page. I weighed myself today for the first time since July 11th and a lot has happened since then, ups and downs. Today was my preliminary weigh in before my final weigh-in on Saturday. I'm actually surprised what my weight was today, I expected something awful but it turned out pretty good... Stay tuned till Saturday.
July 11th: 187.4
August: 15: 190.8... right after my hike. I thought I gained more since increasing my carbs...3 lbs? I can knock that out! Grrr!

I'm pretty proud of my weight loss so far, even if it does appear to be slow. I don't count calories because I find it frustrating and time-consuming (for me), so instead I try to just be mindful of what I do (or don't!) eat. Although that means it's a bit slower than it could be, I've been steadily losing a bit of weight by doing this (instead of counting calories for two weeks, getting frustrated, giving up, and gaining the weight back).
Also: I'm so proud of everyone's achievements so far!8 -

I've been eating less which has helped a little but I've been slacking with the exercise so I definitely see why I don't have too much progress but I'm happy for anything.7 -
Not a bad week for me and so far I've learnt the art of saying no. Showing up to social dos as late as possible, without being rude, to avoid food and filling my glass with water 😉 I did have half a glass of champagne and fit that into my calories for the day.

Woot! Progress! I'm ecstatic because this is the most weight I've lost in these past two months. Now, I know that I need to restrict how much I eat. I always knew I ate too much and now this is reassurance. Along with that, I'm trying to incorporate a bit of cardio and strength training. Let's keep working everyone!8
