How do you think that will help your metabolism if you have damaged it?6 -
Stop trolling then.7

Is this actually always the same guy who's been claiming for years he's only eating 1200kcal and still gains weight?7

If you really go that low calories at least eat clean, whole grain, lean meat, vegetables, brown rice… so your body gets everything it needs. McDonalds burgers and sandwiches don't provide much for the body, only tons of calories. Easiest and safest way to lose weight is still moderate training and clean eating, so 700 deficit is fine to lose more than 1 pound per week. Unless your body is a perpetuum mobile which drains energy from a magical dimension instead from fat of course.17

I think it is logical to state that I asked for help and then when people gave me advice I rejected it. However, I also think the math is logical. Additionally, if I had the surgery I’d be down to 300 to 500 k Per day and Losing 4 to 7 pounds a week without risking metabolic damage orPhysical damage. So why not just go down to 900 if I can tolerate the pain?11

Post operative bariatric patients are monitored closely by their doctors, and have a list of things they must fit into their day including a minimum of protein along with vitamins and minerals.
Your plan to reduce your calories further is harmful and foolish. It is that simple.15 -

-shrugs- atleast you admit it. If its painful its damaging. Thats why. Your body needs care. It needs nourishment. Pain is a sign something is very wrong. But you dont seem like you can be convinced of that being bad. Youve been told it all now multiple times so i guess im out11 -

look, do what you want to do. youre not going to listen to us, and honestly, none of us know you or even really care. drop it down to 300 for all you want.
I'm 5'1 a chick, 40 years old and lose EASILY on 1200 a day. my maintenance is 1600. you can CERTAINLY eat more than me!!!!
you are likely eating more than you think you are. your metabolism is NOT damaged and you are putting yourself at risk for greater health problems than a few extra pounds. but whatever dude. you do you.14 -
Hi Nick. I was looking thru your diary and want to say that the problem may be in what you are eating. I understand you are going to reduce down to 900. One thing I will say is that I don't really TRUST the calorie counts in some of the choices you make. It seems like you have one LARGE meal per day of some sort of fast type food which makes up most of your calories. I know that a calorie is a calorie and it's not supposed to matter but being a skeptic, I tend to think that the counts in some of these fast food items are wrong. My suggestion would be instead of getting a big Mac, why not cook your own hamburger, add your own maybe sourdough muffins, lettuce, tomato, cheese etc and go from there. A month is a long time to stick to the same weight with your counts, and I don't really believe the whole metabolism is hosed direction. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.7

Because your body will break down and you'll end up in hospital. Post surgery diet is a different entity and bariatric patients (assuming that's what you're referring to) have part of their stomachs physically removed or inhibited so they can't take in more than a few hundred calories. And even with close medical supervision, things can and do go wrong. Anyway, you're going to do what you want to do no matter what anyone says, so good luck with that.10 -

Don't come back and tell us how it went. Either your diary is inaccurate or what you are doing is dangerously unhealthy. It is actually against the rules of this forum to discuss VLCDs, which is what you say you are going to do. If you are really not losing weight at 1100 cals, leaning into the problem and eating less will just make it worse. And please find a new doctor.11 -
