Going over on one macro or another shouldn't hinder progress.
Look back after tracking a few days and evaluate what you can change to balance your macros better if you would like in the future. It can be a slow process, but you can get there.0 -
Are you looking at the pie chart or your total calories? You have 500 cals left, of carbs? so 125g?0

I'm not sure I understand.
You still have calories left...
You've hit your macros (protein and fat, I take it?)...
Eat something. If you hit protein and fat, then you can have whatever you want. Going over on protein and/or fat isn't inherently bad... but you've got plenty of carbs left to have fun with.
I guess my answer is... um... eat.0 -

"Macros" are the amounts of the three macronutrients: protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Each macro comes with an approximate number of calories: 4 kcal per gram for carbohydrates and protein, and 9 kcal per gram of fat.
Some people worry about setting these ratios, but unless you've got a specific reason to set these values a certain way (e.g. medical or athletic), it's mostly about personal preferences. There's no one right way to set the ratios or targets for these three; there are many approaches. A ketogenic diet minimizes carbohydrates. A low-fat diet minimizes fat. The one thing most people can agree on is that there is some minimum amount of protein that one should have, and that protein is especially important when losing weight.0 -
