New to keto!

Hey y’all! I’m trying this new thing called the “keto diet” cut carbs and sugar and replace with fatty foods and protein. All I know about this diet is things that I’ve found online after my research. It seems to be the most popular diet right now and works wonders for many people. I want to give it a shot but am completely a beginner at this. Please anyone feel free to share tips/experiences or anything that might point me in the right direction. Also feel free to add me so we can share diaries. (I’m also a huge CARB eater so cutting back all those carbs I could definitely use some suggestions on what to eat now) TIA!

I am starting keto too! I'm worried a bit about the fat consumption, but I have a few friends who have been doing this and they feel amazing and have lost a lot of weight. Feel free to add me, we can fumble through this together!1

Maybe keto isn't for you if you're a huge carb eater? After all, to lose weight, all you have to do is eat less, but you can eat less of anything. Oh, and keto isn't exactly "new":0

We also have many members who have been quite successful just sticking to their calorie goal without eliminating any macro, so if you find keto isn't working for you don't lose hope!
