Fun fact. All eye colours come from one pigment at different levels to none; brown melanin.
The blue is due to the refractive structure of the iris. It’s reflected light, not pigment.
Green is a mixture of the blue and brown.
Grey is from collagen in the iris, scattering the light.
Mine are hazel; mongrel eyes.
