If I do not do this for myself, no one will.

I'm not understanding why you're keeping a hand-written journal? There are literally a thousand apps and websites that will do all this for you. This one included.

My preference is to keep my Diary written. Besides what I log into the “My Fitness Pal” I prefer this easy to open record where I can jot down what I cannot at the moment in “My Fitness Pal.”
The comment about doing it fo myself...was related especifically to my weight.

Very cool. I used to do this. It helped a lot in that I also recorded how the food I was eating impacted my energy, mental clarity, satiety and fullness. Now I know exactly what's required for me to feel my best. Writing allowed me to view my heath from multiple different angles so I gained a greater insight setting me up for how I eat now.

    Well done, keep it up.

My brain processes information differently when I write with pencil and paper as opposed to typing. It seems to "get in my brain" better. I'm glad you've found a way that's helpful for you.
