Help I need more protein in my diet. I’m trying to avoid powder/ shakes and I already eat a lot of chicken. What else can I eat that packs a lot of protein ?

    Are you avoiding powder and shakes because you're unable to eat a certain ingredient in them, or because you dislike the taste? If you have a food intolerance, that's important for folks to know.

    How many servings of dairy do you get daily? Most of my protein is from chicken or tuna but dairy and nuts contribute as well. I prefer to stay away from protein powders.

    Shrimp has the highest protein per calorie ratio that I found. Expensive, but if you're like me, you're always under on your protein when hitting your caloric goal. Fish should be on the menu at least once a week. Turkey, pork, beef of course. Beans and rice if you're vegetarian.

    Why avoiding protein powders? Whey powder works well helping me hit macros, I just get burned out on the powder about half way through the jug. You can get around this by mixing into recipes, like smoothies or breakfast yogurt parfait.

    Thanks everyone! I’m gonna buy lots of fish this week! Also, If anyone knows of any good organic protein powders let me know I guess I’ll give it a try 😉

    Egg whites only. 17 calories and 4grams protien.
