Who drinks ACV here and doesn't it really work?

It may not directly help with weightloss, but it does help the liver to process fats better and I can tell you from my experience it helps with bloating and yeast. It is absolutely great for the digestive system. The best brand is Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cidar Vinegar.33

Definitely listen to the people who are posting for the first time ever and not from the long-time veterans who have been doing this for months and years and have had long term success.
Seems legit.22 -

Source?
It’s great for pulled pork?
There are studies that kind of support that. The suppression in appetite is from the ACV making people nauseated.11 -

I just don't want to hear about the vats of Mother.9 -
Vinegar has some great applications.
It's a fabric softener (put a tablespoon in the fabric softener drawer of the washing machine),
It can kill fleas on dogs and cats (one part water to one part vinegar, dab on your pet's coat with a sponge, and rinse. Their fur comes out lovely and soft, too),
It makes glass come up crystal clear (use 1/4 cup in a bowl of hot water to rinse the glasses or wash windows),
It makes great salad dressing,
It's an essential with fish and chips.
Drinking what is essentially a benign acid neat might not do you any harm, but it's not going to have many benefits either. You'll probably get more out of eating a side of pickle, sauerkraut or kimchi once a day.5 -
I'm bored, so I googled does ACV help the liver, and after three pages of clickbait natural-health sales pages and article farms, I did find an abstract, very recent (so preliminary), short time frame, small amount of rats, liberal use of qualifying words.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24894721
So not exactly proven to be worth choking it down every morning.
OP, ACV doesn't do anything for weight loss. Any health benefits are anecdotal at best. If you like the taste of your drink, and are concerned about health issues that some people say ACV might help, I guess it can't hurt to drink it. Just like any other acidic beverage, don't sip it over a long period of time, and maybe swish your mouth with water when you're done to protect your teeth (I do that with soda and fruit juice). Just don't rely on it for anything.
Congrats on your success so far!7 -

Nauseated. Oh I definitely see that happening...0 -

Hello! I'm almost new here and I've been doing a keto diet which has helped me loose some weight. I was 220lbs after I had baby in January and I'm currently at 196lbs.
I saw and read that drinking apple cider vinegar helps too, has anyone tried this before? What changes did you noticed on your body, energy etc?
I've been drinking only for a week once in the morning and once at night as well this is my concoction lol
• 1 cup of water (some times I add more to get more water intake)
• 1/4 cup of ACV (I eye it out I dont measure it really lol)
• 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
• 1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder
• a big pinch of ground black pepper
Also feel free to add me! I need motivation friends too!
How is this concoction affecting your appetite? Reading the ingredients, reactively, it would force me to not want to eat anything. Bileous. Nauseating. That would be unhealthy, to not eat. There is absolutely no reason to deprive yourself of food using this kookie concoction.1 -

I use the cheap gallon jugs of ACV for cleaning and Bragg's for cooking.
Works great to get the smell out of new clothes - I soak them in a tub with water and about a cup of ACV. It's also a great natural fabric softener. Wet clothes will smell like vinegar but this dissipates as they dry.
Oh, good info! My husband routinely forgets his clothes in the washer overnight, and the stench in the morning is overwhelming. Rewashing them doesn't get it all out, and when I've used vinegar I always re-washed them after because then they smelled like...vinegar. Next time (because there will be a next time) I'll try drying them.
For exceedingly disgusting clothes: nephews gym clothes he finally brought back home from school after 9 weeks or such: PineSol!!! (The generic one works too).
Oh great some fool will now message the question if anyone has tried pine sol and what benefits have they experienced???4 -
I used it liberally in my apple butter recipe. It’s delicious.
Why ask ACV drinkers if it’s benefitting them? Is it possible that nearly everyone loses weight without the benefit of ACV?0 -
I think I have finished 2 bottles last year, I did lose weight but it's not just because of ACV. I do work out and have my diet plan. I usually put an ample amount on my fruit shake or lemon water.11

I wonder if you drank red wine vinegar instead if you'd have lost the same amount.
(I don't really)2 -

Oh I never said I drink this to deprive my self of eating or even to loose weight . I asked if anyone drinks it for a reason and what are the changes they noticed on their body, meaning better digestion or if it helps with anything that they have noticed not just weight loss I am excersicing for weight loss.
I drink acv because I like the taste and the turmeric cayenne and ginger I add to taste and the acv probably I use a little less I always eyeball the measurements. it does diminish my hunger but I still eat because of my inner fatness lol and because I would never change my food for a drink lacking on nutrition. But I guess next time I need to be very specific just in case I give the wrong idea , I just dont want anyone trying this thinking oh this works and then get sick or something5 -
