It may not directly help with weightloss, but it does help the liver to process fats better and I can tell you from my experience it helps with bloating and yeast. It is absolutely great for the digestive system. The best brand is Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cidar Vinegar.

Please don't ask me what happens at the Bragg processing plant.

    Now I'm curious.

It can help aid in weight loss it helps some people to curb their appetite. You don't have to add all those extra ingredients just ACV is fine and it doesn't taste too bad if you enjoy sour things.

    Source?

    It’s great for pulled pork?

There are studies that kind of support that. The suppression in appetite is from the ACV making people nauseated.

Nauseated. Oh I definitely see that happening...

It works great on pulled pork.

It does absolutely nothing for weight loss. It's just another diet industry scam.

    My thoughts exactly.

Hello! I'm almost new here and I've been doing a keto diet which has helped me loose some weight. I was 220lbs after I had baby in January and I'm currently at 196lbs.

I saw and read that drinking apple cider vinegar helps too, has anyone tried this before? What changes did you noticed on your body, energy etc?

I've been drinking only for a week once in the morning and once at night as well this is my concoction lol
1 cup of water (some times I add more to get more water intake)
    • 1/4 cup of ACV (I eye it out I dont measure it really lol)
    • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder
    • a big pinch of ground black pepper

Also feel free to add me! I need motivation friends too!

How is this concoction affecting your appetite? Reading the ingredients, reactively, it would force me to not want to eat anything. Bileous. Nauseating. That would be unhealthy, to not eat. There is absolutely no reason to deprive yourself of food using this kookie concoction.

I took it for months for something unrelated to weight loss. It did nothing for either.

I use the cheap gallon jugs of ACV for cleaning and Bragg's for cooking.

Works great to get the smell out of new clothes - I soak them in a tub with water and about a cup of ACV. It's also a great natural fabric softener. Wet clothes will smell like vinegar but this dissipates as they dry.

Oh, good info! My husband routinely forgets his clothes in the washer overnight, and the stench in the morning is overwhelming. Rewashing them doesn't get it all out, and when I've used vinegar I always re-washed them after because then they smelled like...vinegar. Next time (because there will be a next time) I'll try drying them.

For exceedingly disgusting clothes: nephews gym clothes he finally brought back home from school after 9 weeks or such: PineSol!!! (The generic one works too).

Oh great some fool will now message the question if anyone has tried pine sol and what benefits have they experienced???

I'm bored, so I googled does ACV help the liver, and after three pages of clickbait natural-health sales pages and article farms, I did find an abstract

No need. Just google it in scholar.google.com instead of streight google.

I used it liberally in my apple butter recipe. It’s delicious.

Why ask ACV drinkers if it’s benefitting them? Is it possible that nearly everyone loses weight without the benefit of ACV?

I think I have finished 2 bottles last year, I did lose weight but it's not just because of ACV. I do work out and have my diet plan. I usually put an ample amount on my fruit shake or lemon water.

I wonder if you drank red wine vinegar instead if you'd have lost the same amount.

    (I don't really)

I think it's part of @kimny72's point that all the initial results were clickbait natural-health sales pages and article farms.
