Just tried out a newer sports drink called BodyAmour. Not sure how new it is But its new to me had tried the watermelon strawberry and the strawberry banana. I like the taste & the fact that it has 200% RDI on all the B Vitamims & 100% RDI on A, C, E Vitamins & 700mg of Potassium & only 20g of sodium. But is it really all that healthy though with the sugar being 18g.

do you have a medical reason to watch your sugar?

any one item of food or drink isn't really healthy or unhealthy, you need to look at it in conjunction with everything else you eat in your overall diet?

i only drink my calories in the form of hot chocolate or alcohol, so i wouldn't drink it personally.

I'm watching on how much sugar is in it. Since my blood sugar levels are a bit high from my last blood work results

I noticed they had started stocking it at the local golf course a few weeks ago and tried a bottle of the zero calorie variety at the turn. I thought it was tasty and a welcome alternative to the usual flavors of powerade they stock.

It's sweetened water with added vitamins, like Gatorade or Powerade or VitaminWater. If you are concerned about sugar for medical reasons, then take into account that you just consumed 18g of sugar and make it work into your day. For perspective, 1 pop tart has 17g sugar, 1 medium banana has 14g sugar, 1 cup low fat milk has 13g sugar.

Are you wanting it for the electrolytes or the vitamins? You should be able to get those from eating a variety of foods. I find drinking my calories leaves me feeling hungry shortly thereafter (exception: my protein powder smoothie with chia, fruits, and leafy greens).
