Cheat Day mess up

So, since I started like two weeks ago I had lost almost 4lbs. It felt great; I felt so in control with measuring all my food and being healthy.
But I ended up having two cheat days in a row;
One was due to a friend I haven't seen in three years visiting and he wanted Qdoba... I got the lowest calorie item on the menu, but I'm sure we all know their food is nothing but sodium.
The other was yesterday with my boyfriend; we both had terrible days and binged on some oreos and milk. He was sweet, being aware of me trying ot be more healthy, and bought skim milk and oreo thins... I still even ate less than I usually do when I eat regular oreos...

But today I weight myself and I gained all my weight back.
I know, realistically, it's probably water weight from the qdoba sodium and the junk+milk I had yesterday...
But I'm so frustrated.

Please support, encourage, no hating...

Do you think you actually ate 14,000 extra calories over the past 2 days (above and beyond your maintenance calories) because that is what it would take to have put on 4 pounds of fat in that time period.

Then you know to plan better the next time.

Seriously, relax - you have a life to live and stressing this much over one meal out and some skim milk and Oreo Thins is going to drive you insane. If you know the water fluxes after a high sodium day are going to mess with your head, just stay off the scales for a few days until it goes away.

Ahhh...99.9% of us have been in your shoes at one time. It is just water. Make sure you log it and you will see it disappear in the next couple days. I am like that every Monday now so I don't even think about it. We all have our days and you can't expect to eat perfect all the time :)

What if it's not? You'll have gained a bit of fat...? So....?

don't beat yourself up over yesterday, set yourself up for a successful week and get back on track, guilt never helps weight loss:)

Better how to figure out how to deal with this sooner rather than later...

Do you really never intend to eat Qdoba again? What about other fast food, higher in sodium meals?

An Oreo Thins and Skim Milk binge - did you eat 10K calories in Oreos? 5K calories in Oreos? 3K calories in Oreos? Or did you eat more than a serving? That's not a binge.

What did these two occurences do for your total calories for the day? For the week?

How do you plan to handle special events - birthdays, family parties, date nights, holidays?

Look at the numbers - what is your goal rate of loss set to? How much weight do you have to lose? Are those two things compatible? You've lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks, are you aiming for a 2 lb/week loss or was that initial loss some water weight coming off?

Did your Qdoba and Oreo intake put you over your weekly calorie target? If not, then no, you didn't gain 4 lbs, and likely, you may still loose weight this week.

It's water weight, you literally don't put on fat that fast after two days of overeating especially when you've spent an extended period of time in deficit.
