What helped the most on losing abdominal fat?

My issue is my lower abdominal area. I was wondering what helped someone the most on losing in this problem area? Any tips and advice please

A calorie deficit. You can't spot reduce any particular part of your body through exercise, diet or supplements. How/where you gain and lose fat is determined by your genetic fat distribution pattern, and unfortunately, for many people the abs/midsection is the last place you'll lose it from.13

Although everyone's gonna tell you the Google answer of being in a calorie deficit etc, if you haven't already you can use a waist trimmer. I use the sweet sweat brand and although it's not burning more calories in that specific area more than the rest of my body it sure as hell redistributes the fat to atleast fit into pants better and to appear to be slimmer than when I wasn't using it ! I only wear one when I workout for about an hour and a half for the past 40 days and I love how my stomach looks rn. I swear by it ! But of course dieting bla bla is the main thing lol44

^ Don't waste your money on a waist trimmer, they're junk and will do absolutely no good. All it does is make you sweat more underneath it, which does absolutely nothing to reduce fat. You don't lose fat by sweating and manual 'redistribution' of fat is not possible.
Calorie deficit is not the "Google answer". It's the CORRECT answer.27 -
Calorie deficit and patience. Depending on your genetics, it could be the last place the fat leaves. But it will go eventually.10

Yes unfortunately the answer is correct nutrition and patience. Working out will make everything tighter so as you lose fat, that area will appear more aesthetically pleasing to your eye.
Also waist trimmers are the modern-day corsets, if you cramp your body into one it will eventually have that shape for awhile..but as soon as you stop you will go back to you REAL body. So it all goes down to accepting your body and loving it at every stage while you live a healthier life...it's the only one you've got!12 -
Losing fat all over had the biggest impact.
Exercises cannot target fat in particular areas but can certainly help with posture.
Avoid ludicrous gadgets that can't possibly magically burn or move fat around your body.10 -

Consistent kcal deficit & lots of patience...doesn't hurt to do stomach vacuums either (mostly just a good way to develop more control). There are no quick fixes outside of surgery/liposuction (but what's the point if one is not disciplined enough to maintain?). **** instant gratification5

Plus improved posture may help appearance, since poor posture can make the abdominal area look more prominent.6 -
I gain two places first - my face and my lower abdomen. It's just the two areas that fat goes to first on me. It's also the places it leaves last, unfortunately. It is what it is. Just be patient and keep working on your weight loss!4

You can't spot reduce, unfortunately. What I found though was that sticking with it was the key because my last 10 or so pounds came all from my belly area. For me, boobs went first then some other areas, then the belly at the end. Also, as soon as I put a few pounds on, they go right to the belly. I think it's important not to get discouraged before you see the results. I always hear that the last few pounds are typically from the belly but if you loose hope for abs before you get to that point, you never get the results you're looking for.3

It's pretty normal to have a little lower belly fat...even people who are quite lean have it...I think people have weird misconceptions of what their waste line should look like.
To not have any lower belly fat, you'd just have to be super lean...5 -

The first is obvious - you reduce body fat by maintaining a caloric deficit. Your genetics determine where this is held, so the aesthetic effect may vary, but typically thighs and stomach are where fat is stored.
You can diminish the appearance by developing your chest/back and glutes/thigh muscles - moving the aesthetic ratio closer to the ideal.2 -
For me? I do a kickboxing workout 5 days a week. It is all over conditioning. I do not eat a lot of sugar and I log my food/count calories. It has not been easy but I am losing my belly fat. I am 54. If I can do it, you certainly can. Don't fall for gimmicks. Total waste of $.1

Also, a stronger core improves posture. Better posture gives the appearance of a flatter/leaner abdomen.
I am lucky, I have never been one to store fat on my stomach (well, it's less proportionally). I store fat on my thighs and butt.2 -
For me calorie deficit and cardio, cardio, cardio it takes time and patience
And Toning exercise to hopefully tighten with time.5
