Time of month Struggles

I have noticed while being on mfp that each month when I am ovulating, NOT having my actual period, I struggle :(
I crave all the salty, chocolately, greasy, naughtyness there is. I dont always necessarily give in but I find if I dont I def go over in my calories.
I feel like I turn into a monster lol. Just wondering if anyone out there goes thru the same thing & what tricks they use to get thru! :)

    And I eat what I want to!

    I'll gain about 6lbs the week before I start and when I start, it goes......

    I definitely get like that, though I'm mostly a chocolate fiend. I just make sure I keep Skinny Cow in the house to help curb it. Though if I *really* need to indulge, I either treat myself to a small Blizzard from DQ and go for a long walk, or I'll get a low cal fancy coffee and split a brownie with my hubby

    I don't struggle during ovulation
    but i get bad munchies the first day or 2 of my period.
    sometimes i can stay within calories, sometimes i don't.
    i don't have any tricks, i just try to keep healthy stuff in the pantry/fridge.
    if I go over i go over... one day won't kill all your hard work.
    Tomorrow is a new day =)
