Hi there

Hope you all making the progress you want and are feeling good.

I'm here because I saw myself on video last week and got a dose of reality. I've somehow been able to not see my weight when looking in the mirror for the past few years. Although all the back ache should have been a clue.

I'm 223lb/ 15st 13lb today, hoping to get down to 140lb/ 10st 0lb eventually.

My nemesis is chocolate.

Best wishes
Colin

    Hi Colin

What sort of diet and exercise are you doing have you tried keto!?? X
  • Hi Zoe, thanks for your reply :) I haven't tried keto (tbh I didn't know about it), I'm trying to cut out refined sugar and chocolate, also have stopped buying bread and pasta. I took up karate again as I used to do it when I was young. I've found all the stretching is good for mobility, I'm pushing 50 and you begin to seize up. :) But I think I will need something else for cardio/fat burning though.

    Best
    Colin

I found keto really works to burn the fat quicker but doesn't impact you negatively health wise your body changes from using the carbs for fuel to your own fat supply thus quicker results. Sounds like your doing well I use my air walker as my main source of excercise and find its the best kind for me x

Welcome! There are many ways to approach this - find a way of eating that works for you long-term. It sounds like you've got a great start with eating less and moving more!
  • Thanks Jen :) , I'm trying to be sensible. In the past my willpower has lasted about a week so I hear you about the long term

I think that's a good idea, low impact is definitely better for your knees!
