This is my fifth black lab mix (not all at once!) I usually have 2 dogs at a time, and after my fourth died way too early, I found this good girl on an adoption website. She was 8 years old at the time. This was her "adopt me please" picture and I just couldn't say no. She is now 11 and has been the most awesome dog yet. I think of her as my good karma award for putting up with some of the "quirks" of the rescues that came before her.
I can't find a picture of her sister right now that doesn't blow up huge when I post it. If I find a better one I'll put it up later.5 -
Here is one of her sister. I've had her since she was 3, and she's 10 now. She is a needy needy dog. But we love her anyway.

Sabrina has long been known as "Sabrina Ballerina." (And for what it's worth, there's a song about her in a Cantina in Argentina, drinking Orangina...)
Last year, she got a tutu.

Do you have sheep? I have heard that donkeys or llamas make good guards because they hate coyotes and will happily kick one to death. As someone who is not a farmer, I am REALLY curious if that's true.1 -

We have a small goat farm. We have meat goats, fiber goats and dairy goats. We have a mini donkey who is extremely feisty and is in pastures with horses and she runs the herd. We are getting ready to put our goats in pastures that we see coyotes in from time to time so we don't want to chance losing any goats. Our neighbor has alpacas and she has llamas for her guard animals and they will keep the coyotes at bay for the most part.

Here's our mini donkey. She's a moody little thing.
